It probably would be best for Marbury to go to a team that can contend now. And it won't be hard to get more for him than we gave up. We gave up a lot of assets on paper but a player like Wally is better than anything we actually gave up to get Marbury.

So people who can stomach reading Isola and Lawrence overwhelmingly want Marbury to be traded? What a shocker.

It's easy to trick those polls.

Who Cares what that poll says. I am still pulling for Stephon to perform well on this team.

AI and Chauncey had more than 23 games to mesh into LB's system, and so will Stephon.

The Knee Jerks will always react. We need some more patience.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Good to see that you're spinning like crazy already about a trade that hasn't even happened yet.

Yeah, who needs 2 potential lottery picks and cap room and the financial flexibility that comes with it, that we could have used to lure a good free agent after next season when you can have Wally and his ridiculous contract.

It's not about having Marbury adjusting to Larry's system. Coach Brown wasn't too fond to have marbury as his point guard to begin with.. He just doesn't like marbury's game because Marbury will never play "the right way"

A.I. and Billlups played D, marbury doesn't..

With or without Marbury we would have still been over the cap. What FA would we have gotten?

Brown threatened to quit the sixers numerous times over AI but the owner refused to trade him due to his immense talents and incredible fan support. Steph lacks those credentials and will not be afforded the 'untouchable' status.

Actually, AI was almost traded to Detroit.

So I guess if LB could transform AI, he could always do the same with Steph.

Difference is I don't have 3 years to wait for that, considering the fact that Steph is closing in on 30 years old.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Its in Marbury's hands to turn this dream of playing for the Knicks in a terrible nightmare with a bad ending, at least for him. Now he has the chance to become a leader, show good attitude, leave the past behing and build a new image of him in NY, yet it seems that now that everything is in his hands, he keeps messing up things. This was his team and would still become his team if he wanted it. You just have to follow Brown no matter what and do whatever he asks. If it doesn't translate into wins then let the coach explain that, but let everyone know you are doing everything he asks. Curry and Frye still have a long way to go before they are franchise stars. Both have great potential, but thats it. Steph is the one that is supposed to be established in this league. If he lets this opportunity slip away, the best he can hope is to be traded to a contending team that just needs another role player. If he wants to be a STarbury, this may be his last real chance...

Only once in the Finals. And that was really the only extended run they made in 6 years there. And would that AI Sixers team REALLY have gotten by the Knicks if Camby had been healthy? Philly got by a weak Raptors team in 7 games, just barely. If the Knicks were right that year, I think they would have gotten to the Eastern Finals and probably lost to Milwaukee.

I think Marbury and Brown need more time. The games we've won this year, Marbury has set up Crawford and defered to Crawford in the 4th quarter. That's what needs to happen for this team to win.

Also, it would help if AD broke his leg and retired.

I wonder why the avarage knicks fan whants marbury traded? anyway from a purely objective standpoint as long as marbury truely is trying his best to fit in brown's system he should be given just as much time as any other knicks player to do so unless the knicks can get better by ditching him .
