...Jamal Crawford and Q

for

Larry Hughes, Eric Snow and a 2nd round pick?

Hughes is by far better than JC and Q, and is said not to be getting along in Cleveland.

I would do this in a snap but CLE would choke on the idea.

I think this is decent for them. Hughes is better, but Q and Craw might be better fits, those guys need to run.

I'd do it. Hughes is a good defensive player, a gambler, but he's still a pretty good defensive player. Snow would give Larry the starting PG he desires. I wouldn't mind a starting backcourt of Snow/Hughes and then trading Marbury for a scoring SF. Let me work trade checker and see what I can find.

Edit: What if the Knicks traded Marbury to Toronto for Jalen Rose and 1st round pick? His contract ends after next year and the Knicks would remain pretty competitive with Rose at SF and then after next year only have 37 million in salaries committed for 2007/2008, meaning they'd be well under the cap. JUST a thought.

PG- Snow
SG- Hughes
SF- Rose
PF- Frye
C- Curry
bench: nate/butler/james/ariza/lee

Granted the bench is thin there. Not sure how I feel about this proposal myself now thinking about it but it's somthing to atleast THINK about. It SHOULD satisfy those people that want salarycap space.

SF- Rose

i still taste a little vomit in my mouth when i read this, even though you're not talking about our current rose.

snow isn't a long term solution at PG. we'd cut down salary, but not be any closer to settled for the future at PG or SF. interesting idea, but still tricky. i think we only do it if we decide our entire backcourt now is a bunch of boneheads and want to tear it all down.

Yeah thats probably true. Maybe, I should just stick with Knights original plan and do the Craw/Q for Hughes. I really think that works out for both teams. A starting backcourt of Marbury/Hughes then use Ariza/Frye/Curry up front. Works for me.

Theres been grumblings Martin and even prior to the heated exchange that Hughes and Lebron got into and there were grumblings of Hughes being down on Cleveland and vice versa even before that. Doesn't sound like its going to well for either party there.
