I just had surgery Wed. on my calf and thigh for a circulation problem and bedrest SUCKS.
It wasn't major surgery like Enyspree's or Oohah's but its only been 2 days and I'm bored as hell. (not that posting on UK at 2 am is out of the norm ) I've been tryin to walk but these bandages are too freakin tight they're starting to bruise not to mention the pain from the surgery itself. The doc's have me in bed for another week and I'm already restless as it is.

Any reccomendations you guys?

My friend's droppin off his Dave Chapelle DVD tomorrow and I've gone through the russel peters downloads already. By the way, Russel Peters is f'in hilarious, catch him if you can. I've even decided upon actually finishing a couple of paintings (i've been procrastinating for months now) though I've yet to figure out how to paint with my leg elevated

Help a girl out

Hi MinsHeartsReezy!

First off, I hope you feel better soon.

Now, to keep yourself entertained, get DVR or else you will get the full meaning of "There's nothing on!" Get DVR if you can, DVR beats DVD's because you have to get up and put in/take out the DVD's. Also, who hasn't seen the Chappelle reruns a million times?

Catch up on your sleep...

Keep posting late night and I will keep you company!

Regards,

oohah

crossword puzzles? if you're into them, have someone pick up one of the big-ass ny times collections of puzzles at barnes $ noble or borders. all the answers are in the back for many hours of cheating pleasure!

also get into a good mystery/espionage or serial murder series of books. i like robert ludlum, jeffrey deaver, robert tanenbaum. caleb carr's the alienist and the angel of darkness. have you read the da vinci code and angels & demons? if you can get into any of that stuff it's great escape.

good luck and feel better!

PSP time!

Now seriously, maybe its the best time to read a book. Maybe you have one that you have always wanted to read but never had the time. It would be a great time now.

Also, since you like art, maybe not exactly painting but just drawing. I love to and If I had more free time I would do it more.

And, of course, you can always post about how frustrated you are for the Knicks. It does me good.

Hope you feel better soon! God bless!

Thanks for the get well wishes :)

My friend came over this morning after his last final and dropped off that dvd. He kept me company for a while (its really more like I held him hostage )

Books are a great idea, I've read about half of One Hundred Years Of Solitude and never have found time to finish it. :) My sister also dropped off some old Tin Tin comics. Have u guys heard of those? They were all the rage back in the day in Sri Lanka.

And if anyone's got an hour to kill, I'll hook u up with that russel peters download, I was dying laughing while watching it last night. His jokes are mostly about his experiences with other minorities but he gets away with it cuz he's a brownie himself. Good stuff :)

Knicks better win tonight!
