I don't think Portland wants another PG since they are very happy with Telfair. I don't want Randolph, there was a time when I did, but he's proved to be too much of a headache and besides where are these guys going to start?

The Knicks need to concentrate on problem areas right now and the frontline isn't a problem area. The backcourt is a glaring need, at both positions.

No, Randolph's contract is two years longer than Steph's.

Zach is a very good third big and im not worried about money five years from now. Im looking at the market to move Steph and getting good value back. I do not think keeping Marbury is going to work, but there is a very small potential marketplace--much smaller than people believe.

I like his game, but the cap situation on this team has resembled quicksand for years. My personal preference is to begin to reverse that trend.

I agree with whoever said that our backcourt is a bigger concern than the frontcourt but it would be nice to have a player like Randolph in the frontcourt since Curry alone can't get it done for various reasons, like conditioning and IQ

They wouldn't want Marbury and I wouldn't want their players.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

I'd do it. Perhaps we can swap a guy like Ariza for Jarret Jack as well.

Twice the fun. Personally, I don't know why anyone would give value for Marbs. I think Toronto dangling Vince Carter for him was by far the best value we could have received historically. Now, I really don't know who would want him.

Funny how you brought that up. I remember SAS said something like how people love Telfair's game. He said that was the same way when Marbury first entered the leave. He advised Telfair to get all the loving while he can because it will turn to venom a couple of years from now, because the Blazers ain't winning nothing. Pretty funny and clever. Telfair does remind me of a young Marbury.

as long as telfair doesnt ask to be traded becuase his ego is too big for him to play second fiddle to zach randolph then he should be okay.

I remember when Marbury first entered the league and people were raving about what a pure, old school PG he was. sigh. I also remember when he led Phoenix to the playoff in 03 and people were saying the light bulb had finally gone on and he was the best PG in the league. double sigh.
