So far this season we have seen all types of lineups and Larry Brown has yet to settle on one. Many of them have worked, many were just horrible. But for the first 19 games, we were competing and working hard. These last two games have been so much different from those games. Maybe we should go back to what was working in the beginning.

What am I talking about? Get ready because it may not be of the like of most of you:

Bring back the veterans to the starting lineup!

Ok, let me explain. Last games we have been just terrible in every way, but the thing that has regressed the most is the defense. This wasn't a problem with Davis and Rose in the starting lineup. From the start our defensive intensity was there, along with our focus. Maybe we should go back to that because it was working back then.

It also has a domino effect on our second unit. We were in games when our second unit consisted of Nate, Craw, Ariza, Frye and Butler. They seemed to click a lot, and came off the bench with high intensity and always changed the pace of the game. These last two games our bench has been nothing spectacular, mainly because the veterans can't bring that energy off the bench and not having the whole young group together makes the bench less special.

Now, in the third quarter, the most problematic from those days, we should bring most of those young players to give the team intensity and avoid the slow starts

I don't know about you, but I loved how the Knicks played in those 19 games compared to the last 2. Both of those losses have been blowouts and at home. Nothing has been special except Frye. Maybe we should go back to what was working in the beginning, and just tweak the lineup for 3rd quarters...

I feel you. I've been saying there was something wrong since around the 5th game. It might sound silly but I'm seriously hurt ny the whole thing. I feel like someone stole my blanky or something.

This is basketball not global politics. You play the players that are playing well and you utilize their strenghts and win games. If the coach doesn't like the players he has a right to express it but he gs no right to flat out throw games. Starting guys because its their hometown is so retarded. This team has a rookie of the year candidate, a top 5 point guard, 2 proven 16 plus per game scorers some good role players and athletic young guys. 6-15 is in exceptable. If Larry had a steady rotation and a solid starting line up he would have a case but he doesn't.

Again there is no established rotation. The lineup changed mainly because of Curry's injury. But this keeps looking worse and worse than those first games.

Still, it may have nothing to do with the rotation. Its their attitude and their willingness to work hard. Maybe you don't agree but to me they seem to have given up on Brown because of hsi constant changes and demands...

I sort of agree with you - the Knicks were certainly playing with better defensive intensity earlier, and the second unit with the younger guys did seem to perform well together.
