Too many Artest threads---My Take

I don't feel like posting this in all the Artest threads (Martin any chance we can Merge them?)...

My feeling is this, Artest will only come to NY, but Walsh told him if he wants it to happen he better keep his damn mouth shut. Why else would his agent come out and say that the team that gets him will only be "renting him" for 2 years? That is his way of pressuring the league into not makig an offer for Artest...dood it implies that Artest might even act crazier if he isn't on the Knicks. Walsh is trying to manufacture a league wide derby (look all he really has to say is "We have been contacted by half the league" or "we have been contacted by over 10 teams"...but no, he says, "we have been cpontacted by 16(17)(18)(19) teams"...that seems to specific for me.

I also believe Walsh is handling this because Bird doesn't want to deal with Zeke. Every other trade Bird is front and center, now all of a sudden he is in the background?!

Yeah, at least there should be one sticky Artest trade thread.
