we already gave up our drafts for david lee--my goodness, do we need dave chackettes back here--because he would have nate robinson ariza and Lee out on their arse tomorrow for artest artest is an NBA impact player a defensive player of the year and 26 years old r u telling me we cant get artest because of pick 21+30? because i would give up both plus ariza

there is a BIg difference between a high lottery pick and picks 20+ sometimes you catch lightnining in a bottle but i will bet my bottom $ that both of those guys all three of those guys do not or never will =artest.

artest is a psychopath that the knicks will be better off without.

Ron said he'd come here in two years anyway. That's about the time we'll be competing anyway (hopefully), so why not keep the kids. Artest can still help us in two years when he's 28.

Make Artest the best player on the Knick team - playing with NY pride and toughness. Represent!!!

We need to get rid of crusty vets. But when we have a chance of aquiring a stud like Ron Ron, we gotta pull he trigger and use our 'assets'.

I agree. I'm hoping Isiah is looking to just keep their names out of the paper unless a deal goes down. Remember, he swore he'd lie to us...

Be honest Briggs, if Artest was brought here and the situation got even worse (and believe it could get worse)you would be the first to complain about how we gave up young talent for Artest.

typically, teams win when they have the best players on the court so trading Ariza, Nate & Lee for Artest is certainly translating 3 good, young players for 1 all star.

But, teams need depth too- so its really a balancing act.

Regardless, I've got to imagine Isiah is doing is best to get Artest.
