GREENBURGH, N.Y., Dec. 13 - Larry Brown has tinkered and tweaked, pushed and prodded and given 16 players a chance to make the Knicks something better than substandard. The result has been six victories in 20 games, so Brown is preparing a new template....

There will probably be a 15th lineup Wednesday, but this one should stick. The guards will be Stephon Marbury and Quentin Richardson, joining Channing Frye at power forward and Eddy Curry at center. Brown did not specify who will be his small forward, but he indicated it would probably be Trevor Ariza.

"I just think now I'm going to try to settle on a lineup a little bit more, settle on a rotation a little bit more and then hope by doing that, we see a little better continuity on both ends," Brown said....

yes.. I read in the Ledger today he's going with the youth movement. I would feel better about it if we had a pick this year but either way I'm glad.

But the shocker has to be this:

What do you all think of Woods being the backup three? I think it's just exciting to see the youth movement continue...

I think Ariza is just a stop gap right now...I think Woods will wrestle the spot from him in a short time if he even shows just average defense.

Obviously I don't know how walsh feels about Steph but a pkg of Steph and Ariza for Croshere and Artest works under the cap or if Atlanta has interest in trading Harrington then James and Lee to Atlanta with Harrington going to Indy and Artest to NY also works

I don't think we're gonna lose more games with AD and Rose out of the lineup anyway than we would with them in it.
