But one more dig at Steph, if i may. Him sulking under the towel really represents a metaphorical "throwing the towel in", as in giving up, and he was sporting it in the second quarter today.

Seriously, whether this is 'all his fault' or not, I want that bum out of here.

Red Auerbach used to light up a cigar to signify he felt his Celtics had the game wrapped up. Steph wraps his head to signify his team was lit up.

Adios, Steph.

yes west can play, but really is no better than frye, but you want to know the difference and what makes him a monster?

His PG's ability to get him the ball on a consistent basis.....Paul looks for this guy, as he should.

Marbury looks for his shots, and when that doesn't happen he tries to prove LB's offense a fool by just turning the ball over...

Anyone who sits around and waits for the lottery to better themselves, either in real life or in sports, Is a Loser............... TKF

the big difference is

West demands the ball. That mentality makes West better.

West also can get to the hole off the dribble.

Frye is still a nice guy and he needs to develop moves off the dribble.

West can nail the open outside jumper but Frye is the better face up shooter.

Game Quotes:

Head Coach Larry Brown
On the game: We had 11 turnovers in the first half. No matter how you defend or not, when you have turnovers and give up easy baskets, it puts you in a hole. Even late in the game, we had a chance to cut it down. We just self destructed.

On the Orlando Magic: Shots are a lot easier when you have the lead. There isn't a lot of pressure in those situations. They're bench was great. They had 3 guys with double figures.

On the second half: In the second half we got beat on penetration. They (Orlando) could find just about anybody. We didn't handle screening situations well. Our guys were late on rotations. They (Orlando) read things and made the extra pass. We didn't do a good job on a couple of pick-and-roll plays, that allowed for a couple of 3-pointers.

Quentin Richardson
On tonight's game: We as a team have to come out and play harder. That team isn't better than we are like that - where they come into our own gym and kick our butts. We as players have to look at ourselves and say 'we're not going to let somebody beat us like that.'

On his play: It's cool if we win, but when you lose all of that is secondary. Whatever I did it didn't make my team win.

On the team: I think that we have to look at ourselves in the mirror and take the time to figure it out together. It's not something we can do alone. We have to ask what we can do together.

Jamal Crawford
On halftime talk: He wasn't yelling, he was just talking about the game and what we needed to do to get ourselves out of a hole. It was just coach being coach.

On the recent losses: We played well on the West Coast, and to come home and play like this is pretty embarrassing.

Channing Frye
On tonight's game: The Magic came out here and played better than we did tonight. We have to go and look at ourselves and try to get better tomorrow.

On Dwight Howard: He is a good player, and he's very good in their system and I think they do a good job of spacing out. I'm not going to take anything away from him. He's a good player.

On trade rumors: What I'm focused on is just trying to make this team better and get the w. I'm not worry about all of this trade stuff on the 15th. We have a very talented team and hopefully people will keep supporting us in this time and hopefully we'll go out tomorrow and get a win on the road.

guys sound like pussies.

Steve Francis ****ted on Q with a bad rib and a bad shoulder in slow motion......and thats all he has to say.

Frye can't take away Howards tent he built in the paint either...

Crawford is too politically correct to ever be the Man. We played like **** and coach ripped us a new one would be the more appropriate response...

This freakin' blows!!!! We are going to keep on losing and lose our draft pick to the bulls. Can someone please guard correctly behind the three point arch. How many times did we messed up on Orlando's pick and roll. GET ARTEST here please!!! We need a tough guy in this team, maybe punt some balls into the crowds too.

I really wonder what was the plan when guarding the Pick and roll (or pop). Frye seemed like he was supposed to stay with the guard for a switch or a double team. Crawford really half assed it and didnt switch of double the guy hard.

Only watching the last 18 minutes or so, here is my analysis.

Marbury's permiter D is non-existent. Nelson blew by him whenever he wanted. Marbury does not seem to be trying at all.

Why is Rose playing...Larry?

The knicks have no ball movement.

As for the D and those 3's...after the 1st 2, LB should have called TO and reminded the players guarding garrity and Turkeyglue to not leave them! That is coaching.

Of my points, 2 are marbury and 2 are on LB. They PG and coach are not in synch and it is INfecting the whole team.

I am on the Trade marbury wagon as of now. He needs to go. It is all about him and what he doesn't seem to understand is that the better the TEAM does, then HE will get what he is seeking now and that is recognition. He is not smart enough to understand it. ...Well at least that is what his body language shows.

Qrich looked much more comfortable at the 2. Leave him be and get him the BALL.

Bench Marbury the next game and start Crawford at the 1

another problem with the perimeter D is Curry is too lazy to run out after somebody has doubled down to pick up the man that beats him off the dribble.
