"i look out there, we're playing all young kids. right now we don't have anybody with a head that can, you know, get them in spots and take pressure off them and that's difficult."

he also said that "tony kukoc is a ball-mover, and we don't have that"

Take your pick:

a) no, why blame this on Steph, steph is the only one you don't hear larry blame, as he's our only consistent player.

b) never pay attention to anything LB says to the media.

c) if it is directed at steph it's just to get into his head to motivate him.

d) be serious, it's a plea for isiah to get him a passing bigman like brad miller to take some pressure off of steph, since the defense only keys on steph.

e) man, the hate is really cooking your brains.

stephon isn't really a ball mover, he is great at penetrating and dishing and running the pick and roll. But he rarely finds cutters and gets them the ball, and that tends to stagnate the offense. It seems that with marbury, it's always a penetrate and dish out to a player with about 7 seconds left on the play clock which results in a bad shot more often than not. So yeah, I can understand why Larry Brown would want a ballmover to run the offense through to increase ball movement and more importantly, off the ball movement.
