trade q + ariza + lee in a some sort of trade (straight up or threeway or whatever) for artest in return.

follow that up with a penny + AD + frye + butler + nate + future #1 for KG + wally

take back over 1 BILLION DOLLARS in contracts but this is the lineup:

steph
wally
artest
kg
curry

with craw and whatever trash left over.

THAT'S how you spend money. THIS will win a title. and it's not 100% out of the realm of possibility.

Step away from the crackpipe, man. Frye is actually a better fit with Artest than KG would be.

If we get Artest, I will count my blessings. I don't want any part of a KG trade. Also, A BILLION DOLLARS? Wow. Just wow.

how do you know that team would win a title? If shaq, Kobe, Payton, and Malone can't beat a team of role players, then nothing is assured.

In other words, put the crack down, pick up some weed, and chill out DJ!

KG and Artest both need to dominate the ball in the post. Frye can score without dominating the ball. KG is also playing like he's old now. I don't trust him anymore. Also, Minnesota is doing well, why would they trade him again? They would trade him if they sucked, as is they'll probably try and keep building around him for one more run. They'll be going strong in the Artest mix, I'm betting.

how do you know ANY team will win a title? you don't, but steph (in his prime), wally (in his prime), artest (in his prime), KG (in his prime), and curry (just a big kid but still decent) would yield AT THE VERY LEAST, 3 trips to the finals...

And when they are done we are back to years of rebuilding. Do the Artest trade. Don't do the KG trade.

i wouldnt mind that lineup. although i think we'd be giving up too much in the KG deal, and the pacers would want more for artest(maybe future 1st or couple or 2nds plus cash).... but i'll smoke wit ya, i would love that roster and believe it would compete for years.

I think you're underestimating how much it would take to get Artest. I really doubt we have enough assets to get both Artest and KG.
