Actually, I suspect a trade for KG going like this:

New York Trade Breakdown
Outgoing

Anfernee Hardaway
6-7 SG from Memphis
2.5 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 2.0 apg in 18.0 minutes

Jerome James
7-1 C from Florida A&M
3.3 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 0.2 apg in 8.8 minutes

Channing Frye
6-11 C from Arizona
14.6 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 1.0 apg in 27.1 minutes

Nate Robinson
5-9 PG from Washington
8.2 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 1.4 apg in 18.2 minutes

David Lee
6-9 PF from Florida
3.2 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 0.7 apg in 11.2 minutes

Trevor Ariza
6-8 SF from UCLA
4.9 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 1.3 apg in 20.2 minutes
Incoming

Marko Jaric
6-7 SG from Serbia-Montenegro (Foreign)
10.2 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 4.8 apg in 32.2 minutes

Kevin Garnett
6-11 PF from Farragut Academy (HS)
22.0 ppg, 10.3 rpg, 4.8 apg in 39.8 minutes
Change in team outlook: -4.5 ppg, -7.4 rpg, and +3.0 apg.
Minnesota Trade Breakdown
Outgoing

Kevin Garnett

22.0 ppg, 10.3 rpg, 4.8 apg in 39.8 minutes

7-1 C from Florida A&M
3.3 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 0.2 apg in 8.8 minutes

Channing Frye
6-11 C from Arizona
14.6 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 1.0 apg in 27.1 minutes

Nate Robinson
5-9 PG from Washington

4.9 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 1.3 apg in 20.2 minutes
Change in team outlook: +4.5 ppg, +7.4 rpg, and -3.0 apg.
Successful Scenario
Due to New York and Minnesota being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. New York and Minnesota had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

attaboy, are you serious? First off, the KG rumors are and always will be silly. But that Artest proposal is pretty out of the line. You are giving them Crawford, a good scorer and an expiring contract for a guy who is argueably a top 10 player, and someone who could potentially be a star in the league years down the road. No shot in hell that a trade even remotely close to that happens. Artest is already way better than Crawford and now you're asking for Granger too?? LOL Think about what your about to post before you hit the post button dude.

Relax, Allanfan20, I am only kinding around, I'm just having some fun with all of the rumors, whether valid or not, it's is just a source of amusement, to see how silly these rumors can be, I know none of the trades really make sense, so don't worry, I haven't lost my mind.
