both trades help us.

if curry gets hurt, we're left sort of thin at the PF/C spot as it will be between frye, butler, lee, and possibly rose.

Source?

And you might wanna put up Artest to NY...

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I could see us getting Watson. Karl isn't using him much in Denver. He plays behind Earl Boykins and Miller.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

Why Watson now ?? Isn't Nate playing much better ?? After all he is starting
Isiah Thomas will lead us back to the playoffs in 2006 !!!

I like Patterson, I like Watson....getting Blake is just filler because if we get Watson he is very redundant

I wouldn't make any trades that didn't include AD or Rose.

Why would any team want James?

i think picking up watson would make alot of sense since the Knicks are in dire need of a pg that fits Larry Brown's system..

Unloading James would be the perfect deal.. We don't need that guy but Denver is desperate for frontcourt help..

Does anyone else get tired of reading Briggs's posts about trades that the knicks have to make or players that are so much better than current knicks?

By "most" I assume you mean Ongbok.

Of late, when James has been on the floor he's look good from an effort perspective- I could see a team like denver taking a look at james...

The grass is always greener on the other side. We're always more interested in the players we don't have than the ones we do have.

The grass usually is greener on the other side of 6-13.

True, but more trades aren't always the answer.

With Watson here we have

Steph
Craw
Nate
Q
Earl Watson

and about 3 sf's
Ariza
Ruben
Q woods

thats too many guards with still no real starting 2. I woudln't make that move, Nate has been solid. Craw has to step his game up.

BTW, how the heck did they convince Watson that Denver was the right place for him? There were so many more appetizing destinations for him to further his career...
