every time i watch toronto, i get more impressed with these guys. chris bosh is a super star NOW who can do it every game CV is going to be an all star level player in this league, you can just see it. They have a young PG who is going to be very very good+ Graham is a solid player.

their major problem is they have nothing at 5 jalen rose has completely gone shot the coach is a bad one who does not emphasie D and they have no bench

all this talk about curry curry is 2 yrs older than bosh lets see curry play consistent basketball like bosh before we talk all this blubber. if my eyes werent deceiving me, eddie curry had a heckuva time with boris diaw on him.

Which player is better at commanding a double team in the low box? Curry.

I'll take Frye over CV.

Could we have had Chris Bosh for Sweetney and a pick?

If he had a heart condition.

Im not going to be antagonistic or a homer--just a fan of the sport chris bosh is light years ahead of eddie curry. maybe frye is better than cv, maybe not, but the difference between bosh and curry is a full tier and bosh is two years younger.

when curry puts up 31 points 11 reb 5 assists 4 blocks, you let me know. double teams --why not double curry with ariza's man, he cant shoot.

Bosh is clealy more advanced and more skilled as a player than Curry, but Curry still has the potential to dominate inside. He's a boom/bust proposition.

Where the hell did this comparison come from? Who cares that Bosh is better than Curry? Garnett's better than Bosh but that's no reason for Toronto fans to be upset. They should just be happy with the nice young frontcourt combo they have. And so should we!

I think the thread is somewhat stupid but I like Bosh better than all 3 of those guys. He alone makes the difference. If Bosh and Frye were together I think those two would be like years ahead of Curry and Charlie V. You can tell that I think V is not higher than Frye or Curry. Curry needs to get educated as far what he can do with his body. He has the talent but lacks the BB IQ. Bosh has the need total package, he is athlethic, great shooter, and has an excellent BB IQ, is highly motivated. I love Bosh, love him at Tech too. Still disappointed that Layden couldn't pull that trade off.

I think he is just comparing the young frontcourts. Toronto does play in our division and this matchup if Bosh stays would compete vs each other for a long time. But Curry does need to get his act together consistantly for us to be a quality team.

I went to the raptors board on realgm before the season started and told them they had a bright future after I saw one of there preseason games with CV doing his thing. They told me thanks and to hide just incase other knicks fans were to read the positive view.

right, it means calm down, we dont even have the best frontcourt in our own division and its going to take consistency to be put on a different level. i want to see curry play just 5 consecutive very good games--meaning 20-10 forget about long term. Anyone can do it for a few games.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I don't see how this thread makes any sense. We didn't have a shot at getting Bosh, right? At least not for what we got Curry for. So the comparisons are useless in this case.

I read somewhere that Curry only started playing basketball because he was big. There's a difference when you see a basketball player and then you see a big guy who plays basketball.

Bosh is supposed to be better then Frye, the expectations for him were a franchise bigman to begin with. Frye wasnt even in the lottery untill the very end of his college career when he exploded in the tourney.

As of CV, he was once again picked higher, and and by consensus had much more potential then Frye, albeit with a lot of question marks such as what position is he, is his head right, etc.

Would I take Bosh and CV over Curry and Frye? Sure, but who is offering?

I don't see the point of harping on who is better then our frontline if never had a chance of getting them in the first place. I mean Shaq is better then our entire team put together. So what.

A glimmer of hope maybe?!?
