Home Of NBA Star's Slain Brother Robbed

(CBS) CHICAGO There’s been another attack on NBA star Quentin Richardson and his family.

They are grieving the murder of his brother, Lee, who was murdered in Chicago on Monday.

Now, robbers struck his home.

Chicago police say thieves took a bunch of electronic equipment from the home on the Far South Side Thursday.

Lee Richardson Junior was shot and killed in the course of a robbery. Quentin Richardson was a star at DePaul. He plays for the New York Knicks now.

damn...talk about bad luck..its been like this for him for years, for a guy with his money, i genuinely feel bad for what he has gone through

I do honestly feel bad for Q's family, but on the other hand, if Q is making that kinda money the family can move out of that neighborhood, it's sounds really bad.

I know it's hard for families to leave a place they have called home for a long time, but you gotta admit if you have the money you have to get your family out of there and go to a safer neighborhood. Wouldn't you do that?.

I can't imagine what he is going thru. I heard his dad had a heart attack but was ok. If you can call it ok.

Its not just about the money moving them out, it may not be just where they live. maybe they think they can make it a better place. sounds like Lee was a bit heroic but paid a bad price.

I wonder if LB had any say on who was the Pallbarers! (bad line up joke!)

Im glad the team was able to go and support him! Stuff like this can really galvanize a team and create closeness found on great teams. Should not happen, but when life comes at you it changes things. QRich might be a mess for a while. NBA is a tough game and this dude's gonna be hurting for while!

Isiah and the Knick organization is showing a lot of class supporting their teammate. I like this. Good job.

My deepest condolences to the Richardson family. WHat a tragedy.
