I guess Nash doesn't need the excuses like Marbury does

What were some of you saying when Amare went down? After a rough start Nash has his team at 13-5 and nobody is using losing Amare, JJ or Q as an excuse. If anything, what Nash is doing this season is more impressive than what he did last season as the MVP. The way he's integrated a bunch of new players and how he's made the role players around him better is quite an accomplishment thus far.

Of course in the world of underachievement and excuses that is the NY Knicks, the fact that they lost Crawford for a couple of weeks last season was reason enough to explain away a 33 win season. And now there are more excuses as to why this team is struggling than there are Knicks wins. Absolutely pathetic.

BTW, KT is averaging 14 rebs in the last 7 games. I guess he does have a little left in the tank.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

someone will find a way to hate on Nash. They will throw out the names of career bench warmers like Eddie House and Diaw and compare him to the 100 million dollars worth of men Marbury is playing with.

AD haters

Phoenix' starting frontcourt dominated the Knicks starting frontcourt on the boards 31-21 without playing anyone over 6' 9 or anyone more than 240 lbs.

They didn't have to unleash El Toro. Lucky us...

You guys are too much. Even without Amare, Nash has a legit all-star in Marion to play with. When Nash played with Dallas he had a legit all-star in Dirk Nowitzki to play with.

How many all-star teammates (besides KG) has Stephon had in his career? And I'm not asking how many guys went on to become all-stars, I'm asking how many guys were playing at all-star levels with Marbury at the same time?

I'm not a Starbury-lover, but you guys make him out to be the reason we lose every game. Let go of the personal vendettas.

Nobody expects this team to win 9 in a row but I would expect a so called top level NBA point guard to at least get this team to .500

I'm with you on that. I wanna be at .500 at some point this season.

I guess I see progress and you don't. LB sees progress as well, either that - or he's BS'ing. As far as I'm concerned, I'll only be upset when I feel like our players are regressing. I think we're seeing just the opposite of that. What's that saying? You can't see the forest for the trees.

Listen to LB's postgame comments, he's beginning to back-up his boys. He's demanding that the league and the officials start respecting our players. Earlier this season, he was taking digs at guys. Now, he's going to bat for them.

Morons..the whole lot of ya. No matter how well Marbs plays every loss is his fault. I like how you guys didn't mention the great game CHanning had. But we lost and it must be Marbury's fault, no matter what. So Nash is better. Big deal. get over it. In fact who cares that he's better? I'm sure you don't but just relish the chance to take a shot at our PG. You idiots always complain that he doesn't carry the team like Kobe or AI. Fine. Point made. He still contributes more than anyone else on this KNICKS team, so stop the hating already.

The Knicks played a very good team tight in their own court. That's not too bad.

Islesfan, your gimmick is getting old and tired.

this is so tiring...nash has players that compliment his style of play well and so does marbury. However, consider the fact that nash has been around this system longer. Also, Marbury is learning a new system with new players and everything. Lets see what happens once the suns hit the road.

and isles ur lame arguments and blatant hating on marbury is unbelievable. What did he ever do to you. You can criticize him, but last nights loss was not his fault.

put Nash on this knicks team and have LB ask Nash to play LBs game and I think you'd probably see the same kinds of results- in fact, I wonder if LB would play nash since d isn't his strong suit.

Now, Dantoni has a great system and I was going to start a thread about whether or not our squad with the kinds of players we have might not be better off with a dantoni or adelman at the helm?

33 wins last year, 6-13 this year, never won a playoff series, no other team wants him, nobody likes playing with him, ex-teammates don't talk to him, yeah, he's just like Nash--if only we had Shawn Marion and the Suns system...yeah, that's it.

I still don't think that The sun's system is a good playoff system. They were struggling big time in the first half when we played good defense on them and dictated a half-court game. It's going to be even worse when good teams do that to them.

the suns system is good for the regular season, but in da playoffs defense wins games, and the uns dont have good defenders, nash is a horrific defender, but a good pure point guard. In the 1st half we played good defense and in the second half as well,

and franco is rightm if nash was here he would be a defensive liability, since he plays with the suns, their system doesnt require to play much defense as all they do is outscore opponents

I guess Nash doesn't need the excuses like Marbury does
