www.realgm.com Artest for Peja? Hmmm.

Maybe we can do Artest, Tinsley, Crosure for Marbury and AD?

The thought of bringing Pacers to the Garden makes me throwup but that deal would be pretty beneficial for the Knicks. Just not sure the Pacers would do it, their trading 2 of their very good young players for Marbury which is kinda questionable. I certainly wouldn't mind throwing Tinsley and Artest into our starting lineup though.

the sad fact of the matter is the pacers would never trade for marbury becuase his contract is too large, sometimes I wonder if anyone would. anyway indiana is on a budget right now.

Artest from Qns (the bridge) and Tinsley from Brooklyn. So at that point the fact that they would be ex-Pacers would be a nonissue. They'd be home. I don't think we have what it takes to make it happen but if so bring 'em on!

I don't see a match between us and the Pacers. Tney'd have to take back a two or a three for Artest. Jackson can play either spot. We could give them Craw and throw in Ariza and Butler, but I don't think they'd bite.

Bird will never trade with Isiah. If he would, I would take Artest in a second. Rather not give up Marbs but a front line of Curry, Frye & Artest would be phenominal.

I thought the same thing Knight but I also wonder if Donnie Walsh would step in-between these guys and be a buffer?

I didn't say that. I would give up Marbs.

You didn't say what? I was saying that if the Pacers really did want Marbury or wanted to consumate a trade with the Knicks that I wondered if Donnie Walsh would step in and be the buffer for these 2 guys so that a deal COULD be done. Since its well known the disdain that both Isiah and Larry show for each other. I'd give up Marbury to get Artest and Tinsley here too.

Nate, Ariza, Lee, Butler, Crawford, the Spurs pick, the expiring contract triplets - I'd give the Pacers all of that for Artest and whoever else we'd have to take back. Gotta hang on to Marbury, Frye, and Curry though. Artest is awesome, but moving one of them in the deal would leave the NYK pretty thin. Plus Ron is a psycho. And I agree that Walsh would get involved to broker a deal.
