Just saw that myself Briggs. I REALLY wanted and I mean REALLY wanted Morris at pick 30 in the draft. Still pretty raw but you could see the flashes last year at Kentucky, he's got GREAT hands and great touch around the hoop and pretty good 15 foot shot for a big man to compliment his lowpost play. If I were Isiah, I would like very hard into this.

Edit: Forgot about the D! He showed last year that he should one day be able to block about 2 shots a game in the pros and he should be able to out-muscle opposing defenders for offensive and defensive rebounds. Gotta take a chance on this guy.

I would seriously consider it too, despite having Jackie B and to many other bigs. The guys huge has soft hands and can play 4-5. I just look at him as a chip that is more valuable than Woods.

I definately agree Briggs. I know we have Channing, Curry, and Butler but you never know how these guys will turn out down the road. I think one thing you can NEVER have enough of is young talented big men with skill.

briggs, the 2nd most team i watch this year is toronto also. i like calderon alot. and really really really poor man's nash. he dribbles the ball so high tho - it's weird. they have a nice little foundation. too bad bosh will bolt in 07 and they'll be left with jack again.

We got three centers, and lack roster space. This kid pulled out of the draft for a reason. Wanna cut Jackie blue? Lee? Pay off Anfernee and AD so fast?

I think we got enough young'ins round these here parts.

IF we can open a spot thru trades I'd love to see Zeke sign Morris.

AD's expiring contract is eminently tradable.

First, he didn't pull out of the draft, he was undrafted.

Second....from the ESPN article.

The good news for Randolph, our program and [coach] Tubby [Smith] is that Randolph has been reinstated to play basketball next year. We want to mitigate that and see if we can get him eligible this year. If not, we look forward to seeing him play next year."

for once I agree with Nalod... I mean, who are you going to get rid of to give him a spot. I would toss Malik in a moment's notice, but that is it. Otherwise, there is no roster space. Could they sign him and assign him to the NBDL until they make he inevitable trades including Penny and Tony Davis?
You know I gonna spin wit it

Yes, I'm impressed with him too. I knew he would be ok because he is physically good enought to play in the NBA (unlike the mayority of European PG's), but he NEVER averaged more than 3 assist per game in Spain and he had been playing 30 + minutes as a starter for 3 or 4 years. So it has been a nice surprise to se him doing so well.
