I believe that the reason why we lost is becuase as usual the knicks didnt put enough emphasize in controlling the pace of the game in crunch time. you see what happens is the knicks guards always overreact in cruntch time and try to do too much and stop doing what helps them. for example the 1st half of the game, marbury didnt dominate the ball and only scored when necesary, they went inside to curry often, and they moved the ball around alot. in the 4th quarter the guards stopped doing these things and went way too much one on one and played too fast. Im not saying its their fault though cuase last year marbs and craw did that all the time. but brown needs to realize this and they need to practice, executing on the road while under pressure.

20 minutes for Penny. Really... damn that seems like alot. This will come to enpass at some point between Thomas and Brown. I think AD will get waive against Brown's wishes to take that out of choices.

Total second half collapse. Once we barely survived the 3rd quarter we thought the game was over. When we couldn't buy a shot our guards were on panic and shot our way out to another loss. Frye not being involved on O was dumb and that goes to the coach! Steph was off but he still shot, thats also on him. Same with Crawford. A wasted great game by Curry. But its sad that we can't be more open minded about having our two best big men active and playing well at the same time.

Penny only helped. So did Curry. But please, define our offensive attack, Brown.

Wow! Great analysis, always!

We have no identity right now. The Clips are good? Fine, because they know who they are. We CAN be a very good team, like the first half proved, but we just can't keep an identity for a whole game, much less for a season...

We lost because our best big man was on the bench because Brown was protecting him from Brand. We lost because Marbury hurt his shooting hand and shot 3-16 and Craw shot 2-11. The guys were tired from last night, so were the Clippers, but they picked their spots better, laid low the whole game and turned in on when they needed to.

Also, one of the worst reffed games I've seen in a while. Clips got a lot of calls. Oh well.

We did a good job in letting the refs in the game by playing a pathetic offense in the second half. And if Marb and Craw were tired, they should have created plays for others, like Frye. Its Brown's job to find ways to score, and he failed...

LB Is getting old and tired like his game plan, this is not good, this team can play, but no for 48 mins, under his guidance, something has to give, because this can't go on much longer, we progress, we digress, that's has been the one consistent thing, we have become consistently inconsistent.

Wow! Great analysis, always!

It's a shorthand way of saying they are better than us in every respect. Fill in the details as you please.

WE don't always Lose the game, sometimes the other team is better and/or plays better to Win!

I agree with knights brilliant short answer.

We lose becasue Jerome James did not play? Wow, we then really suck! Maybe JJ was worn out from the nite before? Kaman is far to mobile for some of our bigs.

Curry actually playing in the 4th is a landmark event for us! He was not hurt, not in severe foul trouble and able! This landmark event must happen. He must miss foulshots in the 4th before he progresses and does hit them. He must play in crunch time to become a clutch player! It does not happen at once.

This rotation of players is a big old classroom on wheels where winnig is secondary. There is a larger objective than winning early games right a wasy. There is a larger prize that is likely 2-3 years away, and while I don't understand everything, I can see the logic of Larry.

100% agree with Nalod.
I guess Brown, Isaiah, and Dolan agree on the thing that this year will be no playoff and it will be used to develop young players, balance the roster and establish the team identity. And if it will take 2 years it is fine two. Our young players will gain more without the pressure to make playoff no matter what. Also this can help to make some multi-step trades without hurting any internal expectations.
Yesterday game was dedicated to Curry and Nate development and it was overall defensive training exercise for the team. I think they did a good job in this.
And if you a looking just for wins you will better be Spurs or Pistons fans.

wow...no playoff? then why in the blue hell did we give up an unprotected #1 pick? not making the playoffs would be an unmitigated DISASTER for us.

did frye just play 13 minutes and shoot the ball 3 times. If that's true it's easy to see why we lost. I wonder if brown is getting vegas money

guys, we lost because the guys were tired from playing their butts off the night before and none of their shots were falling. Brown's rotations were odd at points, and he was too overprotective of Frye, but it comes down to the fact that Steph and Jamal had nothing left in the second half after playing their butts off in Seattle.
