i guess with all things considered...like our starting lineups and the absence of curry and james for alot of it, although we took a huge step forward friday night in detroit and then a huge step back at home vs. boston, 6-6 in the last 12 games isn't THAT bad, is it?

To me, this is what I expected all year, and if LB puts it together around Christmas (or Chanukah or Kwanzaa) like he told us before the season and everyone pretty much agrees, I see them doing some good things in the Division and beyond.

Let's Go Knicks!

well we're pretty lucky to be in the craplantic where a 6-11 record means your 1.5 games out of first place.

Plus we possibly have the toughest early schedule in the league. Things will probably get a lot better. In the meantime accept that there will be lots of peaks and valleys. It's called rebuilding.
I just hope that people will like me

absolutely, given the tough early schedule, we are well on track...those 10 games at the garden (mushed with local road games) will be a fun time to be a knick fan.

re-what?

we will have to make a run eventually. whether it's this unit or after we make a big move, we need to overcome that 0-5 start to be able to respect ourselves and start shutting up the critics. i think we can do it, willing to wait.

yeah, i know right? this **** is crazy. i would think the nets would run away with the division. i mean, we have our excuses as well as boston ( younger players), toronto ( deplorable coaching and discontent players) and even philly ( sammy hurt, willie green out). what is new jersey's excuse? all of their so called big guns are relatively healthy. if we start hitting our stride by let's say next week, we could be talking playoffs again with this division. maybe division title.

It's okay. We gave away that Boston game. Well, AD gave it away. It would be nice to say we were 7-5 since the 0-5 start.

I think they were referring to the west coast trip. The Seattle announcers were talking about the Knicks killer schedule the last couple of games. I didn't even realize that the Knicks have yet to play a back to back home game this season (only team in the NBA) and that after this trip they are done for the year as far as traveling in the west.

still have the Texas trip in February. Dec-Jan is the time to make any kind of push. The schedule for March and April is brutal.

I'm afraid that once our team settles down it will also make us predictable, i.e., then teams can actually game plan for us. Right now nobody knows what the hell we are doing and we have that working in our favor. Teams will adjust to us once we actually find something that works.

We should be a much improved team by then because thats how Larry Brown makes it happen. Every team he has coached is a better team in the last part of the season. By then I hope Curry is a big part of the team, Frye is a starter, Q rounds into his game and Lee is part of the rotation. That will mean a lot. By then we will be able to play our best to win those games...

Lol, Im sure Larry will do everything in his power to not let that happen. We might see 41 different starting lineups throughout the season. And don't forget we have a trade or two to make. I don't think even our players know what to expect...

Exactly, that's why this will be long process, I don't expect anything this year except more trial and error.

It will be tough, but this is a good group and the young part of this team is starting to create an identity as game-changers and never-give-up guys. We will trade some of the veterans and this will be a better team after that. I expect them to turn it around and be at least a .500 or better team in the end. It won't be easy and we will still have our bumps but it can be done...
