From DimeMag:

We saw late last night that Reggie Evans missed most of the third quarter against the Knicks last night because--get this--he was taking an NBA-mandated random drug test. "I don’t know if you guys know, but Reggie was back there taking a drug test," said Ray Allen after the game. "Which I think is ridiculous. It’s not his fault, but (Reggie) said the guy wouldn’t let him out."

Wow, now ain't that weird.

That's ridiculous. They shouldn't be interrupting games for drug tests.

they can't administer a test before or after a game?

What kind of foolishness is that?

I'm telling you David Stern is a facist! He is the mussolini of basketball.

I think Brand should be drug-tested tonight in the 4th quarter

It took Reggie a whole quarter to fill the vial. I hope LB doesn't get the test.

I guess it was too easy to let the guy piss in a cup at halftime...

Why doesn't someone give David Stern a goddamn drug test?
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

This is retarded. I wouldnt want Steph, Curry or Frye to have to leave the game in the 3rd to take a drug test. Take the test before or after the game. This is common sense. People pay money to watch games.

I would have refused the drug test on the grounds that it is stupid and ridiculous. Like posted above, before or after the game would suffice, even though I find even that to be a bit extreme.

Following Wednesday's practice, Evans said he got caught up in his normal pregame routine and did not take the test before the game because he forgot. Evans said he used the restroom before the game and then remembered about the test.

"If you do your normal routine, you tend just to focus on that," Evans said. "You're not really thinking about [the test]."

He decided to take the test at halftime at his own choice. Evans said he would have made it back in time, but "the dude moved too slow."

He was supposed to take it before the game, he forgot, then made the choice to take it at halftime.

Jump to conclusions and down sterns throat for the smallest things.

This guy AVOIDED (albeit honestly) a drug test! Period! Regardless of the reason, he freakin blew it off. ONe must almost assume the worst at that moment and maybe if its not done by a certain time he gets suspended. Maybe the league was being leinent by giving him another chance.

Two sides man, but refusing a test is usually an admission of guilt by law. Refuse an field sobriety test if suspected of a DUI? Same deal.

There is protocal for such things. They don't make this sheet up!
