Don't drink the JB flavored Hatorade. The Kid has potential. That's all anyone asks of a player who is 20 and getting paid a minimum contract. A little time a little faith will determine whether JB is a boon or a bust. But let's not get down on a 20 year old for not having post game like Olajuwon. Aguirre will make it all better.

The mystery might have been answered yesterday, when the Knicks worked out Qyntel Woods; they are expected to sign him to a contract today. Woods, a 24-year-old small forward, is expected to be with the team for today's shoot-around.

This looks like something that was just made up...like my JayWill suggestion. No truth. THe knicks worked out Woods. Truth therein lies.

Hold up-- we signed Jackie Butler to multiple years? When was this? Hoopshype has his contract expiring after this season.

Oh. C'mon, big deal. Actually, I think the smart thing would have been to sign Qyntel to 2 or 3 years. With Butler, Ariza, and (potentially) Woods all being FAs this summer, it's going to be real tough to hang on to all of them.

No, Woods has to prove he's worth a multi-year deal first. We'll be able to keep only 2 of those 3 at most between the LLE and MLE. Let the 3 fight it out (not literally--hopefully).

I think Q gets 2 years. That way if he performs right away we get a 2nd bonus year. If he gets good in those 2, he would be best to stick with NY for at least one more if he wants to get paid big dollars. The 2 year contract is the best of both worlds.

We could've given him a 2 year contract with a team option on the second year. The point is it's not smart to line it up so that you have all those young prospects set to become FAs simultaneously.

I can agree to that. I can even agree to a 10 day contract that matures into actual two year deal (or 1 year with option). (but I think there are timing rules on when 10 day contracts can be given).

AA already said its a 1 year deal.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Its a deal that lasts until the end of the season for about 600-800K.

Hey AA, come around here more often, I've seen you here and there on here but not a whole lot. I don't visit the RealGM boards, they are terrible if you ask me. Insider info is always fun to read.

I'm never at RealGM and I never will be again, its an awful site with awful people behind it. I don't post around here alot unless I get into a discussion just because I have K4L to help run, but I guarantee I read these boards a few times a day.

Yep, as great as UK is, we could always use an insider

^ Dude.....think about it.

Beating your wife is almost never premeditated. It's still horrible, and cruel.

But dogs RELY on humans to take care of them in most cases. Woods completely took advantage of another living thing in the cruelest possible fashion.

I mean -- imagine Jason Kidd had starved his own children to the point where one of them ate the other!

Sick.

damm, and think about Sprees poor kids! without that 21mil they gonna eat the family dog!

They should let Big James live with woods! That will toughen him up.

IN china they skin dogs alive, and eat them. Its a cultural thing, and if in Woods world they into that crap, it ain't right, it aint the law, and they get busted they got consequences!

This is business, if he can play, we gonna love him. If not, he is gone. If you don't like him, don't cheer!
