I'll take Curry over Yao now and for the future.

Yao has no fire in him.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

bobs, Yao is a better scorer and rebounder at this point and you can't teach 7"6. Besides they are only 2 yrs apart

Yao is much better than Curry. That said, I'm no Yao fan. I think he's the most overrated 19/9 player in the league. He's a nice player but he's far from being a star.

He's not a star, but he is effective. He's a great 3rd option, and defintiely do not rely on him in the clutch, but its not his fault people expected him to be better than he was. I never was really sold on him as a star.

Curry has the potential to be MUCH better than him. Yao is too mechanical, but at this point he is more skilled than Curry, by a decent amount.

Yao plays with no fire, but he's fundamentally sound and always was. If he ever plays with a chip on his shoulder, the league needs to watch out. He is extrememly talented and if he can get 19/9 playing soft, imagine what he gets once he's pissed off.

Yao would be my choice and i think we could get him if we included Marbury and maybe get back Rafer Alston plus fillers
