I just dont see him being on the team much longer, he hasnt been active, what does anyone else think?

I guess we'll just have to wait and see when he gets healthy. Bruce Bowen also bounced around a LOT until he honed his D and 3 point shot and figured out his role. Could Barnes do the same?

He is cheap and young. Can't knock those 2 things.

I think it was a move that had to be made. I like Barnes but we just couldn't afford to give him minutes.

the reasons are more intriguing as to the actual waiving.

it could be a variety of reasons:

1. maybe his deal becomes guaranteed after a certain date
2. maybe we want the inactive spot to put someone there that's hurt (possible Q demotion)
3. maybe we need a roster spot for a trade or pickup
4. maybe barnes just fell to #4 in the SF depth chart
5. maybe his foot isn't healed and may not be healed for a while
6. maybe they wanted to give him a chance to go to another team that'll give him minutes
7. maybe he didn't say "hello" to isiah in the hallway

trades can not occur til dec 15th so it's a little early to do it b/c of a deal.

that dec 15th date is only the date you can trade players or rookies that were signed this offseason. You can trade guys before that

The trade was finalized on October fourth. Today is precisely the 60th day since the trade! hmmmm...
