the last play, i don't think it was a bad decision to have nate take on the celtics worst defender in dickau (watched the end of the game with a buddy of mine who's a celtics fan, he had nothing good to say about dickau on D) than to have marbury look for a three versus ricky davis. it was clearly a larry brown call. to say it reflects poorly on marbury is pure hating. or means you weren't watching closely.

on a different note: channing has sweet touch. jackie butler is a pure bruiser, loved what i saw from him. they made a good pair for most of the fourth.

so Steph can only score when he is being guarded by Orienne Green

like in the Philly game, even if Steph doesn't take the shot, the ball should've been in his hands to make a play...

stop blaming steph for the loss u guys are obserd he was not taking bad shots he did what he had to do if anyhing i think he should have taken MORE shots.. nobody else but frye played tonight... so lay off steph, **** u guys sometimes i think dont watch basketball

Turnovers, Missed Free Throws, inconsistent Offense and a Porous Defense were the reason they lost today!.

Stop the Marbury hating already! Were anyone of you out there playing to know what actually could've happened and why someone else took the shot instead of Marbury? This is so ridiculous! Had Marbury taken the shot over the bigger Ricky Davis and missed, most of you would be biotching about Marbury being selfish and why didn't he pass it to Nate who was being defended by a bad defender. Give me a break, we have more problems to think about than Marbury, like, why the heck can't this team come out with fire in third quarters? Or how can we committ less turnovers? Or how can we convince Brown to play Davis less...

Wow..only in NY. Steph socres 35 dishes assists and he sucks and has to go. I'm noot sure who picks up the slack after he's gone. That's a big void to fill. Seriously I don't think we're much better than say the Raptors w/o Steph. Maybe one days you fools who want to give him away for 20 million dollars less over the cap or whatever the figure is will get your wish and see that you don't win games w/o star players.

Problem with Marbury, and really the only problem now that he playd D, is that he is a choker.

Just give the ball to somebody else in the end. Craw was doing real well in the clutch the last two games. His injury clearly hurt us in the last 5 minutues.

Nate so far has been clutch. So giving him the ball wasnt so bad I thought. I would rather Frye take a 3 since he was on fire in that game, and made one before, and it looked like he was open. But its easy to second guess so whatever.

Real reason we lost was 15 to's in the 1st half, we should have been up by 20 after the half. And the second thing is starting lineup was awful. Curry was a non factor and Davis had a bad game. So thats why the slow start and the 3rd quarter meltdown.

A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Choker? Man, cut him some slack. Just like any other team that has 1 all-star and no other real support, if you carry the team for like 40+ mintues, you get tired.

Marbury does not yet have a teammate that will carry the team for a quarter or so on a consistent basis, or that can get his without any help. Craw has been OK in spurts and Curry is hurt. Channing has been nice but lets not get carried away.

Ahhhhhh. The voice of reason. Marbs played 46 minutes!!!!! Did you see how hard he was working, can you imagine how tired he was by the end of that game? PLus he's guarding a 6-8 guy on defense!!!

not on marbury the player but the philosphy of marbury as point guard.

but we didn't have craw, and nate is not a point guard so we were stuck. today's loss was a product of roster imbalance.

Hey the rockets are struggling, maybe we can trade marbs for T-mac and his chronic back problems...

No one even cared to mention that Marbury was involved in the same nasty collision that caused Crawford to mis a lot of time in the fourth. Marbury, the one you all claim that was responsible for this loss, stayed in the game after that hard collision and kept us in the game. Its amazing...
