It's not always about shotblocking.....I don't notice any need for shotblocking this season. The Knicks overall defense has been ok. If Jerome can get out and block some threes then he is talking.
The Knicks currently rank 22nd in the league with 4.2 blocks per game. (No readily available stats on blocks per 100 possessions.) Last season, Jerome James ranked 7th among all players with at least 1000 minutes played in blocks per minute. So we could use a bit more shotblocking, and Jerome James is one of the best in that category.
