Larry Brown back in detroit. Will they boo him or cheer him?

Stephon Vs Chauncey

Crawford vs. Rip (hopefully Craw learns somethign from him)

Frye vs Rashweed (Frye shows him how its done)

Eddy Curry vs Bew Wallace

This ganme is a nice challenge for us, lets see how we measure against the best team in the east. I hope the sleep on us.

Edit: Isiah Thomas is being honered at halftime

The more I see it, the more I realize how Frye is a bigger key, as each game passes.

don't forget they're honoring isiah at halftime.

it's going to be a circus. apparently, whenever they show lb's face on the big screen in detroit, the fans boo.

tough to see nate get many minutes if the game is close. steph and craw have to be ready to play 40 mins a piece. i would LOVE to activate curry AND james for this one.

First we steal Allan Houston from them. Then Larry Brown. Next Ben Wallace?

I really hope Eddy Curry can play because he is still a big part of our team, even if he doesn't play 40 minutes or scores 30 points and grabs 20 rebs. He makes other teams change dramatically the way they defens us, and we have yet to see how successful the starting lineup will be with both Frye and Curry on it. There is no better time to start expetimenting on it than on this game...

I fear this game will be a MAJOR statement game from Detroit. They won't be playing the Knicks, they'll be playing against Larry Brown on national TV. I think our guys are playing well and learning. Let's not get depressed if they lose this one by 20.

At the same time, if we can somehow keep this one competitive given Detroit's motivation and general awesomeness, that's a major sign things are working.

But, really, no one should be down if we lose this one by 25. Call it the cost of stealing Larry Brown. The Pistons will be mad mad mad, the crowd will be fired up, it's gonna be ugly.

yeah but I will be sooo happy if we win this one. I actually have a feeling based on matchups that it will be much closer then the Miami game. we'll see

The key to this game is unquestionably Jerome James.

Now that we got our goon back, we can make him useful and ask him to take out Wallace and Sheed

BTW, thank god this game is on ESPN.

Saw STeven A with Billups and Prince. What He failed to mention was the owners part in all of it! Larry left, but was pushed out a bit too.

Pistons will want to show up larry and prove that while larry was important, maybe he got a bit too much hype for the job he did. Nobody speaks ill of Larry, but its a statement game.

I don't thing we need to win to be successful. We need to keep it competitive and play close! Sure a win would be great, but our guys are still learing and keeping toe to toe with them would an accomplishment. That would help build confidence.

The pistons are a great team and will want the world to see it!

should be fun!

this should be a good game. Brown got his rotation down so it seems. I hope he hasn't forgotten what Nate and Frye have done for this team. Detroit is thood because they play like they are connected to broadband network. They can be beaten, the same way a network can crash.

I'm not comparing this to the Miami game. I think Miami sucks. Knicks are gonna beat them next time.

If the knicks being it and stay together they could win a close one. If not they could get blown out the water.

This should be a good one if the rotation stays true.

If we play from the opening tip with the same passion we use to get back in games, then I think we have a shot. If we don't have that energy, then I don't see us coming back on the road (especially against Detroit).

I just hope we are able to keep this game close. Looking for a win here is a real stretch.
