its funny that jamal's sister intimated he might be moved, and he comes out and maybe saves his knick life with a greta second half.

is Q-Rich on the move? can we pair him up with joe johnson for one of atlantas young SF? they do have 9 of them. Ill take childress:>)

its hard to guard three guards especially with frye out there--to much open court--leads to open lanes, drives, open shots and a LOt of fouls.

but ultimately we won the game on the D and thats what you really want to see.

They probably wouldn't do Q-Rich for Al Harrington straight up, right?

Great game.

Good to see Craw playing really well. He has shown great signs of improvement but in some games he's just totally lost. Can he continue to play like he did tonight, and be like a Ben Gordon type 6th man?

I want to see Curry/Q/JJ playing healthy. Only then will we see the true make up of this team.

Great D. Loved it.

Why on earth would the Hawks trade Joe Johnson?

Like mentioned, they have a lot of quality SFs, a position we really need to improve. Right now Rose is doing a very good job playing SF, but he is not our answer long term. If a deal can be done with them without including our top rooks, Im all for it!

I noticed a pattern the past 3 or so games. When Jamal is scoring, the team is playing WELL. Against Philly, it was quiet, but he had like 12 points in the second half and that was crucial for the comback. Same story tonight. We need Jamal doing what he did tonight and last Saturday, and we especially especially need Frye to be aggresive. It seems like Nate it starting to come on his own now.

I'd assume so but I see no reason why a cost-conscious team like Atlanta would take on $70 mil for Q and JJ. I think Briggs was just joking or dreaming.

man, you guys kill me some times. BRIGGS was insinuating that Q moves TO Atlanta for one of their forwards, not that JJ would come here.

maybe I missed this before... From Howard over at NYTimes:

"Brown reaffirmed that Channing Frye will remain in the starting lineup whenever Eddy Curry returns. Antonio Davis will go to the bench."

We could use one of the many SFs on Atlanta... and they could definitely use Jerome James or Jackie Butler.

Back on topic--- Nate has played much more comfortably in the last few games. I think his confidence and swagger that he showed in the summer league's is back. He may not be a "pure" PG (you can probably count the pure PGs in the NBA on 1 hand!), but his speed/power in his small package make him a different type of defender... and a different type of ball handler.

Phil.. I agree. Butler moves sooo well for size, and was a great pickup. With he, Lee, Fye, and Curry ... we could have a potentially dominant front line for years. He has more upside and athleticism than Sweetney.

JJ is untouchable.....not ours....theirs.

Q is playing like poop.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.
