They are now 20 million dollars lighter, have no heavy contracts and got decent but not fair value for PP. But your not gonna get fair value AND cap space, one of them has to suffer. Theyd probably like something like this for Ricky Davis but its too much for him IMO and again he is younger and cheaper than PP.

Now we have Marbs and Pierce carrying the offensive load and Frye adding in as well. Curry gets his in too, but we don't have to rely on him.
Q can continue to tunk it up until he gets his mind right, because we can make due just fine, PP is a 35 point guy, he picks up alot of slack.
Only way we give them Nate is if we sign a pg for the NBDL.

Forget Ricky Davis; Paul Pierce is the Celtic to target if they're trying to rebuild from scratch. He'd fit perfectly here. I don't think we'd need to give up Lee and Ariza (maybe one of them at most) if we're giving them Crawford and taking that much money off their cap, though.

Pierce is a disinterested human slob who has no charactor. A me first moron whom has achieved wealth but no material achievement.
I can see the attempt to rehabilitate Marbury but this player is garbage no matter what his stats are. Im not interested anymore in stat mongers but players whom are commited to a team concept. Keep this pile of dung away from the orange and blue. Not that we don't deserve such crap, but its time we elevate the pride of this franchise , not degrade it any further with heathen.
He has long been on the top of the talented but "don't get it" list of mine for some time. His act in last years playoffs is unpardonable!
I don't blame Boston for ridding themselves of him, but not here.
Paul Pierce cannot be an important piece of any championship team.

IF is the biggest overused word in the English language that really doesn't mean anything at all, and is usually the beginning word of a dumb question or idea. Especially when it comes to NBA trades.

Ainge has said that he doesn't like to trade with teams in the same conference, but even if he didn't feel that way, we're not offering enough young talent to pry a star like Pierce away. Pierce has a career average of 23 ppg. He can score anyway you want, passes well, rebounds well and plays good d. If you want Pierce, you have to start your offer with Frye.
