Why is Kobe/Odom such a bad combo?

When they did the Shaq trade, I thought the Lakers would at least fight for a playoff spot last and this year. I think part of it's that Lamar's overrated and not a star. But I also think their skills don't compliment each other's very well. Kobe needs a low-post PF or C not a perimeter/ball-handler PF. They're also not very deep after Kobe and Odom.

They shoulda been perfect together. Odom plays like TT though. He is very inconsistant. It could work, but Odom doesn't pull his weight.

Briggs argued that Odom is better than Steph!!! Yeah, Odom is way over-rated.

Kobe took 33 shots today, thats why. He needs to learn to trust his teammates.

Too bad these OT threads get bumped down so quickly. It's already almost off the first page. I'd love to hear what a # of people who supported a trade of Steph for Lamar think.
