I think Larry Brown will push a core starting group of Marbury, Crawford, Q, TT, Sweetney, JJ, Penny, Houston and Malik early on and win some games. Probably like last year we will be around 15-12.
Then as the gimps start to break down you will see more Ariza, Frye and Nate as Penny and Houston break down and JJ has his first bout of back spasms or thigh cramps that put him out for a week here and a week there. This is where it gets interesting. Which personality will prevail, Larry the teacher or Larry the psycho Knick lover desperate to make the playoffs in his last coaching gig.

All and all I say 42 wins and 9th place in the east. Close but not close enough.
obviously I'm dead wrong about the good start and playing the veterans a lot. To be honest I'm happier with our current scenario than the one I predicted in some ways because a dozen games into it and we have already established Frye as a starter. To me thats progress. I'm sticking w/ the win prediction though

here's a good one. i understand the last we heard of this guy he was in a hosptial detoxing from a 10 pack a day kool-aid habit. heard the poor schmuck was snorting the powder straight out of the packages. just a sad sad story.

50.

that's right.

50 wins.

this team could go either way. but i'm predicting the high way.

every year some team wins at least 10 games more than anyone predicted.

guess whose turn it is this year?

I am a fan believe it or not

I also thought that Houston was going to win the thing

Hopefully we can make the moves where we can get a stud SF in either Davis or Lewis and grab a james so we can change course due north

I'm going to go with 43 wins. I honestly don't think Larry Brown will settle for anything except a playoff chase down the stretch and will force Isiah into getting some players in here that he wants if they Knicks are in that position. I think around later December the Knicks are going to lose a few games in a row and Larry is going to go a litte bonkers and the expiring contracts of Timmy or Penny will be put into use and *poof* a frountcourt player will appear in the starting lineup for the Knicks next to the much improved Mike Sweetney. And oh yeah, the Marbury at 2guard experiment lasts no more then 15 games, he'll be back running the point where he should be when the Knicks make their playoff push at the end of the year.

I can atleast stand by my prediction of 43 wins, althought that seems slightly high right now. I think its certainly do-able.

fishy and I were in the midst of a month long debate on optimism, and I blurted out 46 wins...

pay attention fishy...46 wins. second round of the playoffs.

while I'd like the take the fishy route and stick to that prediction, this was PRE-CURRY, so I'm gonna add 3 more to keep the optimism flowing.

49 wins. second round of the playoffs.

Not quite "maximized" yet, but I'll stick with it. It will happen.

I said 43, and I'll stick with that. I think there's promise and we'll be better once Curry is healthy and we get some home games.

I think the team will be better after Isiah makes a trade using the expiring contracts and other trade assets. I wouldn't be surprised if they were a little below .500 early in the year but finished strongly and got 43 wins.
I'll stick with that prediction including the trade prediction.

I said that we'll win 50 games both before and after the Curry trade, and I still stand by that prediction.

Once the major players come off injuries and become acclimated to LB's system, the Knicks' wins will pick up.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

No doubting your fandom. You are Uber fan. No one said you had to be a card carrying Kool aid moron and paise Isiah to the holy heavens.

We just question your sanity. No biggie!

You alright briggy, just swaying with the emotions.

Why not turn off the tube for a nite, grab the wifes ass and tell her she looks great! Remind her why she married you.

If your not married, go next door and grab your neigbors wife's ass while her hubby watches the TV and make her feel sorry she married him! If that don't work, grab your own ass and remind yourself what it was like before cable.

You are out of you mind or kidding.
We have no chance to win with 14-16 best teams in the NBA and 50/50 with all the others.
30 wins will be a miracle
