to sprain an ankle. He's just been so awfull and the guys behind him have been very good. Even without Curry and Big Snacks we have enough frontcourt guys. Frye, Butler, Rose, Mo and Lee are fine by me for the 4/5 spots. He's killing us out there, he really is. He's KT with bigger muscles and no jumper. I dont understand why he still here. He's played bad, while Mo T has drawn charges, taken good shots, worked hard on the boards and played good team ball.

We're in desperate need for Larry to realize that Antonio shouldn't be given minutes. You're NEVER in desperate need of a player to get injured. That merely obscures the bigger problem--in this case the coach giving WAY too many minutes to the player.

I keep waiting to see AD do something good! Break into his bag of veteran trickey, but Malik is the only one doing that. He's the guy thats earned his time and played great

only problem is AD has NOT been a good insurance policy. He's been terrible on both ends. He's getting his shot blocked like Spoon. He's getting boards ripped out of his hands. He's not hitting open 15 footers. Maybe he will get better?

It's really kind of sad when your best rebounder is someone who is 6'5", built like a sf but is really a PF and the guy who tries the second hardest at grabbing the boards is your friggin' 5'8" backup point guard. Antonio Davis has been just brutal. Mo T kind of bugs me. Frye is working his arse off, but his rebounding is still not that good and we need it to be great. We can't put THAT much pressure on the rookie. I guess this is why you gotto cherish the Maliks (I don't know why certain people were calling for the guy to get cut yet they were pissed JYD was forced out?) b/c they are doing the right things. It's just shame he's 6'5", b/c he's prolly be an all star or all defensive NBA team player if he were 6'9". He's earned his stripes.

Is Lee really just that bad though, that he can't play ahead of some of these guys?

No, I didn't really think you wanted him to get hurt. I was just saying that the focus should be on the bigger problem (Larry, not Antonio). AD is trying his best but is simply aging. I knew what you meant; I just wanted to shift the focus to Larry. Sorry, I wasn't clear.

AD has been bad in areas he usually is good in, and has been even worse in his weaker areas, that is not a good sign, not at all..

LOL about Larry!

I'm not worried about Larry yet. Since he's very smart, I'm going to assume he has good long-term reasons for giving AD this many minutes early. (We could come up with many.) If AD is getting this many minutes late in the season, I'd be worried, though.

Our no. 1 and no. 2 center is both not playing. AD is ok as the 3rd string center. Jackie blue is getting run, which is a good thing. Jackie is not starting material quite yet.

ADs minutes are evaporating as well. Take note that Larry Brown is trusting Frye to play in the closing games of minutes, which is what is REALLY REALLY important, and I think he realizes that Frye is becoming a very crucial part of this team. More so than Davis. If that weren't the case, then Frye wouldn't have been playing in the 30s the last couple of games. In the game against Philly, he barely left the court in the second half and overtime except maybe a couple of minutes. I think you're going to see the Davises getting their minutes cut once Curry gets back, Malik will get his minutes and start at the 3 sometimes, and Mo T will get his minutes every now and then.

Davis is pretty shot. Either that or he doesn't want to be here, and hopes to get traded.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.
