10 YEARS is a long NBA career.

The average career of a NUMBER ONE overall draft pick is 722 games - that's the draft position with the longest average career. (according to a study done in 2003).

Mugsy played 889 games.

Spud played in 814 games also a long career.

Calvin Murphy played 1002 games.

Allen Iverson has already played over 600.

You're right, 10 years is a good long career, especially for a guard. My interest in NR learning how to play on the ground is not just longevity, but I think it would make him into a far more effective player.

He could to bust out the Pookie Wennington game tapes and watch how he did it!

Mike Jordan became a better player and prolonged his career once he learned to be effective by curtailing his high wire act. I know we all love the dunk thing, but it does not have to be his staple OVER TIME!

shooting buzzer beater threes from the corner should be his new staple
"We need another shot blocker and we need more girth in the middle, once that happens we have a chance to be a pretty decent team" Isiah on draft night

What if Nate went to a team where he could start right away? I think Nate would be leaging NBA Rookies in scoring....with probably 4-5 assists per.

We got a good player in Nate. Don't let Larry Brown fool you. Nate is making Larry Brown look bad.

It seems everything is about LB to you. But what are you saying here? LB has been giving Nate a lot of minutes and what he has said indicates he thinks Nate has a lot of talent but needs to learn the game. What is LB saying or doing with Nate that you disagree with?

Larry don't like the players on the roster. Playing Nate is killing him. Starting Channing is killing him as well. David Lee and Butler are also killing him. Brown would rather play vets........

I'm down on Brown cuz of the rotations. 13 games and there still isn't a solid rotation down? I'm rooting for oll the young guys to play well(except D-League Ariza), the more they keep playing well the more pressure it puts on Larry to play them. Channing and Nate played their way into the rotaion.....now Lee and Butler still have to continue to get it done to force Brown's hand.
