- today's celebrity of choice...john mcenroe garnering a polite applause and a few smattering of boos.

- i'm not sure if it was a sellout but it was pretty packed in there. crowd was dead for most of the first half (and with good reason) but it was INTENSE the 2nd half.

- ALOT of people were complaining about lb during the entire first half - specifically his rotations. BOO central, except for a decent contingent of philly fans.

- this is like the 15th time i've seen iverson play and every time he just wows you. you really just watch him go nuts and when he starts hitting those shots, i look around to the people around me and everyone's just shaking their heads. unreal.

- starting ariza is good for him. he just has to concentrate on defense and he effectively took ai2 out of the game - total non-factor.

- does banging rudy huxtable zap you of all baskeball shooting ability? q is like a replay of tim from the 1st half of last season. his lack of production is really killing this team. i have no clue what's going on here.

- when craw passed on that wide open 3, the entire crowd MOANED...but it was the right play.

- nate robinson had an absolutely AWFUL first half...only to show everyone why we drafted him in the 1st place. although iverson dropped 40, nate's defense on him was SPECTACULAR. he stayed in front of him the entire night and iverson made those shots late b/c, well, b/c he's iverson. the garden EXPLODED on that game winning shot. now, i don't know how effective he'll be in miami as it's tougher matchups, but he did a really solid job on iverson today.

- marbury was OUTSTANDING today. he took and made all the big shots. he picked his spots, didn't force anything, and most importantly HIT big shots when we needed it. just a GREAT game that a franchise player should have. good for him and for us as fans.

- 2nd half offense, play nate off the ball (which is better for him), let craw and steph handle it with SIMPLE pick and rolls and let steph and craw find the open man or score. VERY effective and the best way for us to play b/c our guards can really do whatever they want.

- malik rose is elton brand.

- channing frye...what else can i say? wow. i'm worried that when curry gets back, AD starts at PF and it would be a shame as frye has done nothing but play effective bball every second he's out there. he had two long defenders on him and he didn't care. his release is quicker than 1/2 the sg's in the league.

- it was the best game of the year for us, and it was great to be at the garden for it. we need some home games and they're coming soon so we need to take advantage.

I don't know why but that was very funny to me. It was like he purposly wanted to be an a-hole.

there are only 2 guys in sports I can think of that move so much faster than everyone else on their field it makes for bizaare watching at time. AI and Michael Vick.

Larry said it best... you just dont stop him. you cant. Nobody can. Your best hope is that some of his shots just dont go in

- ALOT of people were complaining about lb during the entire first half - specifically his rotations. BOO central, except for a decent contingent of philly fans.

They were also booing Malik like idiots for most of the game even though he played good. I remember one play where Nate threw him a TERRIBLE pass, and they booed Malik for not getting it. Idiots.

- i'm not sure if it was a sellout but it was pretty packed in there. crowd was dead for most of the first half (and with good reason) but it was INTENSE the 2nd half.

Indeed it was. I was there very very early and they announced that there were no more tickets. A lot of people had pissed off looks on their face.

- when craw passed on that wide open 3, the entire crowd MOANED...but it was the right play.

Yeah, the whole crowd moaned, apparently Clyde and Malik Rose hated it too, but I thought it was a good play. I thought at the time, the offense still needed to get in a flow, therefore, Marbury decided to F' the play up instead.

It's brutal right now.

And djsunyc, I totally agree about Iverson. He's sick. Webber looked like he hadn't lost a beat.
