I guess Brown was unloading on Nate Robinson after the Charlotte game. Conversely, he was raving about the play of Knight, according to Newsday and the NY Post. Knight is a very under control smooth PG, albeit a short one. Ray Felton is the PG of the future there. Charlotte might pull the trigger for the right offer.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

Knight's FG% this season is very scary but I assume that will get better since he's a smart player. He'd be a very nice PG if the team wanted to move Steph to SG.

yeah but wouldnt the PG that displaces steph to the SG spot have to be tall enough to guard a SG? unless you want another one of those marbury guarding kobe situations. anyway Im not all that high on brevin knight, hes a very smart player but despite what his 11 apg indicate hes not really that good of a passer, not like nash and kidd anyway.

Looks like MArbury would have to guard the opposing 2 if moved to the Sg.

In Philly, SNow @ 6'3 guarded the opponent's best 2 while Iverson guarded the opposing 1.

Even though that was the case, both of them(snow & A.I) played tremendous defense consistently..

I wouldnt mind getting Brevin, I'm sure Larry thinks he can get the offense more under control, so if thats the case, I'm all for it. Getting a pg who is fundamental and able to understand Larrys system will expediate the growth process of this team and could turn out more wins. I'm the the Bobcats can't ask for THAT much for Brevin, especially when they want Felton to take the reins.

Stat's aren't everything to a player's game, Knight doesn't look to get his shot he looks to get the ball to an open man and run the offense, if he scores it's only a plus.

Evidence of Larry placing the blame on the roster. How are the Knicks shorthanded? Usually, that word is used in the context of having injuries or illness. Larry uses it to take a shot at Isiah for not giving him his kind of perimeter guards. Also interesting that Nate feels like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders. This from a guy who was supposed to be the energizer bunny and make the team fun to watch again. I don't know...

Yeah, they have less than zero in common. James isn't the kind of PG we're looking for. He's talented. If Toronto wants to give us him for free, I'd surely take him. But he's playing great. It would take a decent amount to get him.

Oh no?? Then what kind of PG are we looking for? He plays good D, scores well, dishes well, works well with teammates? What part of that isn't what we're looking for? I'll trade a # of guys on the team for him.

And there is no resonable deal to get him. I thought long and hard about a trade that made even a little sense. There is none. Bobcats have all small salaries and we have all big ones. It'd have to be a 3 way or something. Hes not all that special anyway.
