from Bergen:
"[Knicks] whose team's starting forwards - small forwards Trevor Ariza, Matt Barnes and Malik Rose, and power forwards Antonio Davis and Curry (for one game) - have averaged 10.2 points and 6.5 rebounds and shot 37.6 percent in their starts.

That's both positions, combined - although that discounts rookie Channing Frye's unexpected production off the bench, plus the defensive contributions from the others that Brown has cited."

Wow that's pretty sad. Just start Frye, dammit!

Be patient...Ariza's jumper is coming around.

He was hitting rim in the Portland game. He must've been working alot in the offseason.

I'm being sarcastic, I have no faith in Ariza being a consistent shooter ever.

i was watching pheonix yesterday and man, does kurt look bad out there. of course, the entire reason he was brought in was b/c of amare and without him, he looks 10x worse in pheonix than in ny. he's not hitting any of his jumpers and people are just running by him. it sucks tho b/c he's a solid player...but looks like this is a wasted year for him. so when amare finally does return, kurt is another year older.

Kurt led the NCAA in both scoring and rebounding his senior year in college, he'll be fine.

That used to be the most overused kool-aid flavor, now the most used kool-aid flavor is that Stephon is the only player since Oscar Robertson to average 20 and 8.

BTW, even in the face of that stat, no way I regret losing TT, that P.o.S. Just have to convince Brown to start Lee (for rebs) & Frye (for points). Right away, those averages go to:

Conservatively:
PPG RPG
Lee 6 8
Frye 10 5
Total 16 13

Optimistically:
PPG RPG
Lee 10 10
Frye 15 8
Total 25 18
