i watched him again last night vs. memphis and i could only imagine what lb would do with this kid. i think he could make him a PREMIER defender at the 3 spot. he posted up channing here. he was guarding pau and doing a good job on him. he's hella long and has unparallelled athleticism. his knock is his shot selection...but look at what we did with craw. ariza is not even in the same galaxy as this guy AND he makes our new knick standard contract ($6-7 mil a year starting). he may be off the block right now but i would not hesitate twice to bring him in, even if it means taking back ratliff.

penny + ariza for miles + ratliff + blake

it doesn't answer our jumpshooting question or backup PG...but damn if it doesn't plug a huge hole for us. imho, tayshaun's role in detroit is irreplaceable. i think dmiles could be better for us than tayshaun for detroit defensively.

h! I just said the same thing in the other thread.

Some people say they want nothing to do with him but then they get all excited about someone like Ariza who can't even start over Barnes and Rose. It would be real nice if we get him at SF. He would exce under Brown definively. He'd be our Tayshaun Prince only a lot better

IMO the only 3 worth making a deal for on Portland is outlaw.

He is just as long as Ariza, just as athletic as Miles and has a better outside shot than anyone playing small forward on the Blazers or Knicks...{whispering} and he is still growing Coming straight from highschool he is still the rawest but thats why LB gets paid the colloso shaboozis.

I have always been clear about what a player like D. Miles could bring to our squad. He balances our roster and gives us that lock down perimeter defender.

Not to mention Blocks, rebounds, scoring, and an additional ball handler. We NEED him. I'd do that trade without a moment of hesitation.

There isn't a chance in hell that they trade outlaw. I wouldn't want him anyway. I like him alot as a player, I think you are way overexagerating his jumper, but he isn't as good as Miles yet. He isn't close to the all around player Miles is.

I was down on outlaw one time, but this kids game has transformed as did his jumper, shows me he is serious about being a player in this league. I would like to get him..

uhhh...Miles has been at it much longer. With Miles and Patterson ahead of him getting on the floor ain't easy. Its obvious its a trade for the furture...could be another J' Oneal situation.

In this years SL's he ate Ariza's breakfast and **** it out to serve to Trev for dinner.
