UConn vs. Arizona

Not a bad game, 2 top programs squaring off in the Maui Invitational. The game also features Rudy Gay the man-beast 6-9 220 pound Forward with the game and the skills of a SG. The best shooter to don a UConn uniform and alot of guys have worn that uniform, including Ray Allen. Theres alot of speculation about whether Rudy will come out after this year(sophmore season) but with the way he's been playing this year and the way he played last year, he's going to be a absolute no-brainer #1 pick. He does everything you would want from as a basketball player; he can shoot, he can penetrate, rebound the ball, he can block shots, plays tough defense, postup moves and he has a great handle of the ball - almost a point forward. You name it he does it.

Just thought I'd throw this up for anyone who isn't all that familiar with the college game. If your not ramiliar with Rudy - make sure you check out the game tonite if you can.

LOL! You won't see anyone in BK or Harlem donning that jersey... but the kid has got some serious game.

Hmmmm...so if this gay may come out (in the next draft). meaning we had the chance to draft him had we sent Lee to Chicago instead of picks.

Rudy Gay is going to be a Top3 pick without a doubt, thats at worst.. chances are he goes #1. The Knicks would have no chance of drafting him.

Gay will be the new cool name! They can market it and make it a big seller!

remember being "happy and gay"? had noting to do with being a homosextual.

Rudy could be a huge name given the fact that its "GAY!"

Did I jinx the guy?

See Knight, this is where its obvious that you just pick for arguments for the sake of arguing. If you have watched any college basketball you would know that Rudy Gay is not just a top prospect but an ELITE prospect.

I'm with Briggs, Aldridge has looked fantastic, and should've contributed big time last year but got hurt. Plus, he's 6'11" and teams always draft big over small.

It's still very early, but I dont see a player who is deines a one pick more than Aldridge. He has incredible touch around the basket, he has tremendous length at 7 feet tall with long arms, he rebounds very, very well, he blocks shots--he'sa better NOW prospect than any player picked in the last draft. he's sure fire number 1 unless he gets hurt.

I dont know where Rudy Gay will go, it all depends on consistency. There are players hat I like--one being a guy named Jason Smith--lets call him a 7+ foot version of David Lee--that would be close to accurate
--he would be the most athletic 7 footer coming into the draft, even more than Lamarcus, but he's more of a 3 man like lee in that hes a passer, and can play from the wing--but unlike lee he can block shots and has the size to play 4-5 and still move back to 3 because of his size. Guys like Morrison Rondo, Shelden, possibly Roy Hibbert--he may be a year away--these are your upper tier guys. I dont see a PG that is as good as Chris Paul, but there are candidates for later in the lottery--other than rondo.
