Successful Scenario
Due to New York and Dallas being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. New York and Dallas had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Both are expiring contracts so nobody loses anything, but we gain a guy who can shoot the 3, rebound and play SF which is where we are weak !!

Isiah Thomas will lead us back to the playoffs in 2006 !!!

KVH is in Dallas rotation. Anfernee is in his IL gulog.

Why would Dallas trade a productive player for one who is not?

I like keith alot, few 6-10 players with his mobility can both shoot and rebound like he can.

KVH is on the right team now. They will contend in the west and he contributes.

I like this for the knicks, but makes little sense for Dallas.

And what does Dallas get? KVH is playing well for them. He'll get a nice deal above the MLE to stay on if he keeps this up. I wouldn't mind trading for KVH, but we need to give up something to get something back.
