Channing Frye or Eddie Curry ???

Who is the better player right now and in the future ?? I would personally say that Frye is better now and has a brighter future. Although i love both players. Frye's attitude is better as well. Frye works harder and has more offensive weapons and defensive desire. That doens't mean i'm looking to trade Curry !
Now if we can get LB to play him 30 mins a game minimum, then Rookie of the year is in the bag !!
Isiah Thomas will lead us back to the playoffs in 2006 !!!

I've been wonderng the exact same thing! My parents will get me a Knick jersey for the holidays and I keep going back and forth between requesting a Curry and requesting a Frye jersey! I love both players and can't decide who to be more excited about.

Curry, no question.

Frye has been consisten and solid. But Curry has the potential to give us something down the road that very few players can -- pure DOMINANCE.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

It depends on risk tolerance. Do you want someone who's at least gonna be a great role player and possibly a perenial all-star (Frye) or do you want someone who could be anywhere from an overpaid garbage player to the most dominant big man in the league (Curry)? I don't think there's a right or wrong answer. It's just a different style. I like having both a high risk potentially high reward and low risk lower but still nice reward players!

Maybe once he reaches 22 or 23? How many 22 year olds dominate the NBA?

at this point in time, it looks like frye has the mean streak and more potential to take and hit the big shots. two different players at two different positions.

personally, since I like smart players, I'd take Frye.

But in general, Curry has that potential to dominate like Shaq.

I was exaggerating, but I'd take a few players off that list because you can't say you dominated the NBA at age 22 if you didn't win even one playoff series at that age. So maybe 1% of *all-stars* were able to dominate the NBA by age 22.

he scored 63 in his second season against the freakin Boston Celtics. If that's not domination I don't hane any idea what dominating is. Now he didn't start winning until later but in terms of dominating he was doing that from the start

jordan dominated from day 1.

winning playoff games means nothing.

as an individual player, yes, he was dominant.

just ask larry bird...

no... look at the players that dominate or have dominated the NBA. Then look at them at 22 year old. You can see in pretty much all of them the makings of a dominant player.

So LBJ can ring up triple doubles, Jordon can score 30 points a game, Shaq can give you 20/12, KG is becoming a star, etc. ect. but they arent dominating if they havent won a bunch of playoff games?

this just boils down to what you mean by "dominating." I guess you're taking a purely statistical approach rather than a team-oriented or winning approach. And yes, those players did statistically dominate at age 22

I see both Frye and Curry playing together to make our frontcourt on of the most formidible in the East. I hope the future hurries up and gets here!
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!
