I have a feeling he is going to be a very popular player in this league...

He can be ROY if Larry wants him to be.

Remember all the Heat Briggs, eymyel827, et al. gave Isiah for his comment about Frye being the best big man in this year's draft? I guess nba.com agrees with Isiah right now.

I'm surprised at how comfortable he looks out there.

He looks like a shadow of the player he was at summer camp.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Big time, not confused as he seemed, and has learned to stay out of foul trouble (atleast, when it's not a back to back).

Very interesting how he fits in.

He plays well in the sandbox...let's the game come to him. (cliche alert)

Yo Bonnie, enough of the bashing on BRIGGS party. It's annoying and played. Come up with even a tenth of the orginal content as he had and we would all be shocked. Just cut it out. Thanks.

I didn't even mean that to be bashing him. I put the et al. because he was one of many people knocking Isiah for that comment. Sorry you misunderstood what I meant.

Only the 5 or 6 members of his cult would be shocked. The rest would treat it like a normal day.
Not sure why you're singling me out. Many people pick on Briggs as much I do because he and one other poster are Mr. Know-it-alls. But it's your web forum. Single out whoever you want to.

Bonnie, playing innocent again?

That was a full rage Snit gay robotic remark. You jump on briggs anytime you can and offer little other than more "agree" or "Hated it"

been a long time since you called me that. I missed it! No doubt that was my once a month snit post. It was obviously 100% accurate; I just usually don't throw low blows like that. I probably got irritated by Martin's initial low blow at me. (Sorry but I don't know what to call it other than an immature low blow when the moderator says "Come up with even a tenth of the orginal content as he had and we would all be shocked.")

If there were many that gave Isiah criticism, there is no need to mention Briggs specifically. Your fetish with him is disturbing. Note that he never pre-emptively mentions you.

Yeah he does. But more importantly, I couldn't remember the other posters without takint the time I don't have to check past posts.

I can tell by your 8,000 posts that your time is most precious. Nevertheless, its unnecessary to name any posters - you could have made your point without references to Briggs or anyone else.

By the way, your point itself is pre-mature - Bogut may very well be better than Frye or vice versa. If given the choice now, I 'd still pick Bogut.

Thanks; I editted the original post to include you and will include anyone else who acknowledges taking the critical view of Isiah's comment to make it clearer to Martin and Code that I had no intent to single out any one.

No, you just read something (actually a lot of things) into my post that I never put in it. I never claimed that Frye would definitely turnout to be better than Bogut.

People have gone from 'Frye has bust written all over him' during the summer to this. I'm just happy we got the guy. The main thing is going to be how he adjusts to how teams will soon adjust to him. That will be the most interesting part to watch this season.

What exactly were you claiming? Many people who give Isiah heat for that comment probably still do. I do. Frye is not better than Bogut. He's very good, but Isiah would not have drafted him no. 1.

There's more important things in this thread, than LBB having secret fantasies about Briggs, and that's Channing Frye. I noticed in the last couple of games that he's been playing in the crunchtime minutes more. After the Laker game, I said he needs to do more stuff besides shooting Js, b/c they will come if he does everything else that he's good at. I missed the game on Friday, but he grabbed an offensive rebound and had a couple of nice ars cuts to the whole and moved around like a hungry wolf. He's obviously reading my posts.
