Darious Miles was not overall impressive for the length of the game. He was effective at times, but I could not tell if they were not feeding him anymore or he just lost interest. He just faded.

I was suprised as Zach moved further and further from the basket, the knicks lead got larger and larger.

Bassy was very impressive and obviously pumped up to play in the garden, in front of his family, and with big Cuz Steph!
I was hoping the Nets would have worked a deal to get him. Having him and Marbs in the town would be great for NY hoops!

He has really bulked up and physical similarities are amazing. Same game!

I don't know if Isiah can work the magic with Miles, but I just as soon keep developing what we got.

Reezy did not have a good game, but Malik looked good playing tough defense, rebounding and hitting that little corner shot. We need not be spectacular at every position and having a solid Vet for now is a good thing. I like Rose and reezy working on his shot. He did not get much yesterday.

I liked what I am seeing with Craw. He is driving to the basket much more than last year and getting more midrange shots.
And yes, Marbs played a good game.

Basically What I say yesterday was the team playing with less mistakes and more fluid offense. They are improving!

imagine Ariza should just be a college junior. He should seriously be working on his handles and jump shot ALL day long.

Agreed. I like Ariza, but I am sooo annoyed by how horrible his handle is. He dribbles like a damn center. He looks like he has not worked on his handle at all since last year. Or his jumper. He needs to become a better finisher and then his other flaws will be less apparent. Hes gotta stop trying to dunk it every time.

Craw didn't play so well, and took some bad shots that game too.

Sebstian is a different kind of player than steph. I don't think he'll ever be the kind of scorer Steph is, but I think he has the potential to be a really really good pg. Everything for him hinges on his jumper.

ariza has to play within himself. he has to play defense rebound run and when opportunity is clearly there attack the rim or take the open shot. dont dribble into crowds, dont be something you arent. when you rebound, good things happen he is clearly frusterated and playing out of his comfort zone and LB has pulled his minutes.

the same goes with nate--nate will be a VERY good back up IF he improves his jumper in the next 2 seasons and while that is improving, he must stay within himself and look to pass first, unless he has a wide open shot or lane to the basket. Ive noticed he is very adept at going to his right and able to seal off his defender on the drive, but when he tries the same srtuff straight down the lane his sht gets sent back or he is on the floor over extended. Nate is going to be a good pro because he can get seperation at will, although even with the seperation, he has to react quicker because of his size. For ever 4 plays nate touches the ball 3 should be passes after seperation. When you sepearte and break down the D, someone is open, so you move the ball.

guys like zach and miles are not the sharpest tools in the shed, they are stubborn and probably don't care about playing the right way, but I feel if you make them work hard to get good shots, you will break their spirits and force them to just chuck up jumpers and bad shots, and that was the case. especially with randolph, at least miles made an attempt to go into the post..

Did anybody see/hear/read anything about this?

It appears the loss will have lasting implications as top reserve Ruben Patterson probably will incur internal punishment -- a suspension or fine -- for an animated and expletive-filled protest toward McMillan about his playing time during the team's huddle between the third and fourth quarters.

Stupid article describing Marbs and Bassy. And the article suggests we are "woeful" and assumes that only portland played poorley and we did nothing right.

Sounds familiar though. Sometimes you get beat!

This is a familiar story with Zach and Miles. Two bone heads with no head for the game for what ever reason. Just keep them the hell out of here. Isiah has got to stop with the Gazy men and keep going with top flight charactor young men who will buy into a system.

I can see getting Dairy-Ass for pennies on the dollar.

Im suprised over Pattersons meltodown.
