According to ESPN, Lee's "per 48min" rebounding # is a whopping 23.5 (10.4 OR, 13.1 DR).

Granted he's only played in 6 games, but is this guy for real or is this just a fluke? His college #s were nothing to brag about at 6.8/6.8/9.0 rounds in the 3 yrs at Florida. All the pre-draft scouting reports mentioned his atheticism and leaping ability, but I don't think anyone exected this kind of rebound #s.

As for other Knick PFs, AD and Rose's #s are 10.7 and 11.6 respectively. Lee needs to get more minutes, don't ya think? What do these 2 vets do that Lee doesn't?

Here's more on Lee when he was a high school kid.

Check out "Brick Oettinger's Top 100 Rising Seniors" from yr 2000 linked in the article. Many names there including Frye.

Lee blew many many defensive assignments today against portland. He doubled and left his man wide open on several occasions and it costed us lots of points. Once he gets that straight, he'll be great though.

Lee will be a solid rebounder for us once he gets over the rookie jitters and mistakes.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

funny stuff:

Quotables
Lee on his appearance: "I'm not that strong so I don't look like I can play. Plus I have long hair. So I look kind of like the village idiot."

On why his father's alma mater, TCU, is not recruiting him: "I guess my dad left a bad impression."

On being compared to Duke star Shane Battier: "That's unbelievable. That's like comparing a high school announcer to Dick Vitale."

On his conversation with Bill Guthridge the day before the UNC coach resigned: "He said, 'You should come here, we'd get along great.' Well, we'd get along because I would never see him."

On the changes/potential changes in coaches at his list of schools: "Maybe I bring instability to these programs."

Another Quotable:

"[Being able to use both hands] is a big advantage when I play a kid like Tyson Chandler who's a great shot-blocker. If I just used the left or right, I'd have no prayer of getting a shot off. But since I can use both, I can shield off with the other arm and play smarter. I don't have to move as much, jump as high -- just use the opposite hand."

From that same high school article. Good reading.

LOL. That's funny stuff RV. Lee sounds like a great guy to have a couple beers with, especially after reading some of the stuff that went on over training camp.

Rose does the same thing and he is alot more experienced than Lee, who only played 12 mins, he didn't so that much damage!.
