Ithink it would help the knicks frontcourt. Dampier is 6'11 and mills would relieve spree and H20 duirng the games. Also, Mills contract end in 2004 plus since G.S is about to lose Hughes, Shandon A would be a good replacement and they desperately need a PG. Eisley would fill that need. All this would be sufficient only if G.S would be willing to pay the luxury tax.. Knicks need to trade any of these 5 players = Harrington,Weatherspoon,Eisley,Shandon A.and Knight in order to relieve some cap space. How??? pick someone who has a huge contract but with a yr or 2 left... EX(Kemp) who'll come off 2004.

There another trade that would work for Knicks!!! 663725 on realgm. Knicks get two big men on 3 team trade , i feel would satified all 3 team involved in this trade.... so here's the new team...

pg. ward/williams= williams will be starter in middle of season
sg. houston/postell
C. olowakandi/dampier/Rooks= 3 guys to give Shaq a workout!!
pf. McDyess/weatherspoon=Spoon will relieve McDyess and rebounding will be strong at the four
sf. sprewell/C.mills= mills is a veteran who can relieve spree/H20 during games. This team would defintely comes out of the east and knicks could still use their 4.7 on Keon Clark. What a team!!!!!!!!
