Q blows and only had a good year in Phoenix last year because of Nash. I can't believe how people built this guy up in the summer, you know who you are. Are we ready to unload this stiff already?
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

Alright, but the early signs reek of disappointment.

if you prefer watching Kurt than Frye and Lee at PF, then it would be great to undo this trade

They may or may not have been drafted by Isiah then. If they were, they would get their minutes: Frye can play PF or Center and Lee PF or SF.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

if undoing the q for kurt trade would result in frye and lee not being drafted than theres no way in hell that trade should be undone. but I think he can improve if his skills are utilzed better and if they cant then at least hell be a good trade peice

hey breaking news! KT is not exactly lighting it up in phoenix either! tonight: 2 points, 5 rebounds, almost fouled out, 19 minutes played. The man is 33 years old. Anyone realize that? He's averaging 9.4 ppg and 6 rpg BEFORE tonight's statistical disaster.

Do you think he would fit the LB profile? He plays defense and rebounds. Enough said. If it was for 25 minutes a night so be it.

that may be true but I still woudnt undo it. cuase then we'd have a glut at PF and even less outside shooting. ill admit that antonio davis is a mummy, rose is a midget, and that james is a lamp post but I still like the trade cuase theres still hope for Q in this system.

KT vs Q is all. I am not saying I even love Kurt, I don't. But he was at least useful.

Q wishes NAsh was still here.. That's the problem!!

MArbury isn't a Steve Nash type pg who passes the ball to you constantly..

Knicks traded away a find defender in Kurt Thomas..

They should've traded Kurt T. for a defensive big rebounding small forward instead of Q..

Kurt and Q are victims of not being used properly. I knew that once we got LB, Q would not really have a place here. Phoenix isn't a pick and roll team, hence KT won't get many opportunities.

actually they ran the pick and roll quite a bit when stoudamire was healthy, but appharently d'antoni doesnt think running it with kt will yeild similar results

Why would you automatically assume that Kurt would be taking their minutes ahead of Mo T, Rose and Big Stiff? Why is it impossible that Kurt would have taken those 3 stiff's minutes and Frye and Lee would have gotten pretty much the same minutes that they've gotten so far?
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

This thead is bull****.

I will not fall into the traps Larry brown is leaving for everyone.

Bottom line you must make that q trade. The knicks have a good team.

Browns offense works but no team can win the way he is spreading the playing time.

Some of yall need to wake up an see what if going on out there.

Trade marbs for grant hill? So this is marbs fault?

Marbs has to take his own share of the blame (b/c he needs to lead by example), but no, it's not "all his fault". Teams win and lose basketball games, not single players.

He does contribute in good and bad ways though, just like your Steve Francises of the world. And HE was moved to SG, soo...

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I think the 3 spot has the curse of the Fugazy on it!

Q will get better.
