The smooth criminal on beat breaks
Never put me in your box if your **** eats tapes
The city never sleeps, full of villians and creeps
That's where I learned to do my hustle had to scuffle with freaks
I'ma addict for sneakers, twenties of buddah and bitches with beepers
In the streets I can greet ya, about blunts I teach ya

There is a lot of complaining about how Marbury didn't take over the game. Exaclty like I was saying. If he played the same way and we won then people will say he is a floor general. But we lost so there for he is playing to passive. If he went on to take over the game by making plays and we win he is a stud. If he went on to take over the game by making plays and we lose he is just looking to pad his #s so he can continue to have comparable stats to Oscar Robertson.

But I agree. I think he should have took over the game. Curry dropped 17pts, Fyre dropped 21, and Crawford continues to make that leap as a headier player though he only had 12. Marbury did have 10assist and continued to play aggressive on the defensive end. But he needed to do more. Its obvious though that Larry Brown did not give Marbury the green light to do so. Marbury only took 2 shots, a wide open 3, which he missed, and a drive penitration which he also missed. Both came in the flow of offense to. It was pretty clear that Brown wanted to go to Eddie Curry first and Jamal Crawford 2nd when Marbury got back in the game with 9mins left in the 4th. I strongly doubt Larry Brown told Marbury to do his thing, and Marbury decided to go against Browns wishes. This is Larry Brown's show not Marbury's. I thought the first 5 games established that. Maybe Brown was trying to establish others as threats so down the road. So we could have 3-4 players opponents have to fear to make plays rather than just one. And then we don't have to rely on Marbury to force the issue and be a one man show(Its already established he isn't Jordan or Kobe), instead just run our plays and let the offense just flow to win games with everyone the whole TEAM on the same page sort of like they did in Detroit??? (Im not being sarcastic)

As for Marbury's contract. I agree that he is overpaid and I allways did. I don't think any player should make 20mil per season other than Duncan, Shaq, KG. But first things first we didn't give Marbury his contract. Its not like Marbury signed here as a freeagent for his current contract. We traded for Marbury while he already had his contract. So there for the contract he has is based on him and the Pheniox organization relationship/partnership. Also the knicks were over the cap when we got Marbury, would have been over the cap without Marbury(don't kid yourself), And will be over the cap after Marbury is gone. If Marbury's contract was also hurting this teams flexability and ability to improve this team. Then how did we happen to change every other player on the roster after his signing?? How did we happen to have 9players 25 or younger?? How did we happen to build a future talented frontcourt?? sign Larry to 10mil contract, if his contract is hurting this teams ability to improve?? So lets see, Marbury isn't hurting the teams ability to improve and make moves, But he is filling in the seats, making Knicks relevent, and selling jerseys so that Knicks can make profit. Let that marinate for a little bit.

One more thing. Either Q needs to establish himself as a consistant offensive and rebound threat to open the offense up and truly make us a better team or he needs to be moved for someone who can/will. Someone like Ricky Davis though a headcase, Mike Miller, Caron Butler, Matt Harpring. Isiah make it happen.
