Q's game...at the clips it was the post, in pheonix it was the 3.

he can board some and i'm surprised by his ability to get back in transition and draw charges.

BUT, we are not running ANY plays for him. he is literally our FIFTH option when he's on the court. has pheonix deprogrammed him? he's taking AND missing 3 pointers. we don't give him the ball in the post and the two times we did all season, he took some pretty bad looking shots.

he's not an exceptional ball handler and his passes into the post were pretty f'n scary yesterday.

we're either not using him correctly, he's hurt, or he has taken a step back as a player. he came into camp out of shape, coming off a break-up and an uprooting and it's showing.

what do we do with him?

i wouldn't be surprised if he's the first one gone (as he's probably easier to move) in the next wave of isiah trades.

I'd like to see more of Q's post game as well. As for the missed 3 pointers-- par for the course with Q. He is a streak shooter, that's just what you get with him.

He does need to touch and shoot the ball more often-- it's tough to get in an offensive flow with such a limited set of opportunities, particularly I think for a streak shooter.

Trade him? Too early to worry about that IMO. If we can get an upgrade, great, but it's not like we need to trade the guy right now and it's not like there is no chance things will get better.

I kinda wanted to see him guard Kobe yesterday. His defense has been solid. This is one of those times you just let a vet guard the superstar and you should have let Ariza play off the ball and double. Ariza probably had no business guarding Kobe, when it would have been better off if Steph or Q guarded him. Craw also shouldn't be guarding the guy, just b/c he's "Quick". He's 2" smaller and much weaker. It's asking for disaster. Should have stuck with Marbury or Q b/c they are the ones that can guard the big talented guards. Ariza is still so raw. He plays his ars off, but there's so much for him to learn yet.

I believe he is hurt. Watch how he runs up the court. He doesn't look 100%. I'll give him to the deadline to show me something.

DJ, one player in the post at a time. Brown has got to secure Curry first and then work on the others. I think you will see more Q in the post after Xmas.

it's really too early to talk about anything after only 8 games. but there are some things that are troublesome...as in Q's lack of participation in our offense. you look at these young guys and you can see they just want to be out there more. and look at lb after the game, he was giving them an applause. then in the post game, he's made the "hey, if i play the rooks the whole game..." (i'll try to find it and re-post it). where was q in all of this? so why not move him for a veteran guard b/c that's really what we need. we need a veteran guard that can still give quality extended minutes (unlike AD) to keep the calm on the court.

Q should start at the 3. Marbs, craw, Q, Frye, Curry.

Then he would be able to play his game.

This is what I am talking about we have guys who can score Marbury, Q, Crawford, Taylor, Frye, Lee, and Curry but not all of them are doing what they do best when we need it, Especially Marbury, we can out score any team, if LB gets his act together and plays the right combo of guys. LB's system stinks, he has decide things faster so this team can really start winning otherwise this team will be so far behind they won't get into the playoffs.
