I understand that he's really not worthy of a ton of playing time b/c of his age and his height, but a lot of people talk about him as if he's pure garbage, and they are comparing him to the Spoons of the world. Or that's the gist I get.

First off, I really don't think he changes the course of the game with the 2 shots he gets blocked per game b/c he's still a solid defender and he can grab boards and play solid team basketball. He's no slouch, and he's a veteran that's good for the youngies to be around.

Just remember, he's not playing a lot as it is. He's getting similar time to what he got in San Antonio. The Spurs fans LOVED him. We think he's garbage? How about, he earned the playing time he recieves and we should love him too just b/c he gives it his everything and can help the team win. Yes, he gets in trouble when he has the ball against taller people. But like I said, he does more good for the team than bad. He's a good guy to have around, and we shouldn't be whining if he gets 10 - 15 minutes a game.

agreed. AD on the other hand makes Malik look like Amare Stoudemire

He isn't pure garbage, but he has flaws that don't fit with this team at key points. He made some great plays, and he can teach our team some very important things -- like how to get an opposing player to fall on their a*s. But he isn't as fluid or reliable on offense as other Knicks. When we start going cold he is a liability.

Trade Penny or let him expire. Let Frye earn his way past AD (if he hasn't already). Dangle Mo T. for draft picks and see if anyone bites. And play Rose as a role player in spot minutes to do just a few key things and do them very well. If we do those things we will be too busy loving all the wins to argue about whether Rose is tall enough (no), pretty enough (hell no), or contributes enough (toss up). Well, most of us will be too busy to argue about it anyway...

Just get rid of Rose and AD, this team will be a whole lot better without either one of them.

Rose is a seasoned professional player; He will make some plays. But he should still be the odd man out with Jerome James. The other guys are simply better at this point in their career.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Rose is not a bum.....but there is a reason the spurs weren't playing Rose his last year at San Antonio. He was supposed to be hurt but all of a sudden is traded here and he was in excellent shape.

Rose can play this game but with all the fee passes you guys are giving him......dude is still not better than Frye, Lee or Butler. Rose belongs on the inactive list.......perminantly

yeah rose isnt exactly the mose athletic, tallest, talented or, energetic forward on our team but after watching the last 2 games I say he should get some play time, perhaps as the backup SF. becuase beleive it or not he's the closest thing to a "veteran" that we have, cuase antonio davis looks like he's 60 years old out there, mo taylor cant play the kind of team oriented defense minded bball that brown wants, and jerome james will probably never be anything more than a stiff. at least rose is a smart player.

He's our only guy with championship experience (Excluding Penny) now that Allan and Kurt are gone, and even if they were here, he's the only guy that won it. Why wouldn't you wanna keep him around unless of course, the right deal came, like Darius Miles.

NO. I WANT HIM OUT!!! He is a turnover waiting to happen everytime he touches the ball, and he boxes out well for rebounds. Other than that, I am not super impressed with his defense. Down the stretch in the GS game, Rose & AD costed us on defense. They should not be playing big minutes and should not be in down the stretch. Their best defensive days are behind them and they can't score. When the clock winds down teams can collapse on Craw and Steph because there is no one to kick it out to, because no one can shoot or dunk!!!

Rose is not nearly effective as he once was. San Antonio fans loved the Malik that could average 10 and 6 in 20-25 mins off the bench...he's not that kind of player anymore. He made it as undersized PF b/c of work ethic and effort, but now he's at the age where any physicaly ability he once had is deteriorating.

Took the words out of my mouth. Every time he touches the ball, the other team gets the ball back without us scoring. He's shooting 25% and his average of 1 turnover per game is just a lie. I see him turn it over much more than that. Must be paying off the score keepers.
