i hate him. i said in a previous thread that we should trade him but in all honesty...we shouldn't. why you ask? not b/c he can return to the greatness that is 5/3 in 15mins. no, that's not why. it's b/c we still don't know the deal with curry's health. if he goes down with a heart problem, we'd be left scrambing as AD would have to start at C, and probably frye, mo or butler would back him up.

so the WORST signing in club history needs to be kept around for just a little while longer, until we know what's up with ec.

And eventually, like next year and the year after (maybe this year), you are going to need that big old body for 10 minutes a game in the playoffs. Fouls baby. He's good at it anyway.

But seriously, if James could just round his game to being a lane clogger when on the floor, rotate and help on D, I'd be happy with that.

Wait, let me scroll onto some other message boards and see how many times fans of previous teams have said that for how many years. Tim Thomas part 2 written all over, except there is no expiring contract coming up. Tim for Jerome and Malik needs to be done!!!

I think Jerome will contribute but he isnt going to be the player everyone saw in the playoffs last year. I dont think anyone should have expected him to be either. Plus like the thread states...insurance for Curry and a body to throw on the floor for fouls come post season time. Sure he is overpaid...but he has SOME value to this club, just not right now.

The problem isnt him being a good or bad player. Its minutes. With Antonio Davis, Eddy Curry, and Channing Frye all getting minutes at center, will Jerome get any time at all?

Im beginning to not care if he just sits as an insurance policy. I mean its not our money right?
