In all fairness, AD should be getting the most burn at the 4, assuming we are still trying to compete. Frye will be used more and more as larry's trust in him grows. If anything, Lee should be given Rose's minutes, not AD's. Right now, lee could fill the same role as rose while providing some more hustle and muscle (aka huffing and stuffing).

Edit: I agree Butler should be Curry's back-up when we don't go to frye, given similar girth and strong performances thus far.

Frye still should be starting and finishing games. Playing Davis would have made sense if (a) Frye and Lee had each fouled out or (b) the goal is to lose games.

My hope is that Brown has some good rationale behind his decision to play inferior vets ahead of superior young players. I could live with it if he's trying to teach the young players to use their fouls more intelligently. I'd be really concerned if he were so delusional as to think AD and Rose are superior to Frye and Lee

AD and Rose are superior to Frye and Lee in terms of not making mistakes in crunch time. Channing, David and Nate need major minutes but they also need instruction before they're placed in a demanding situation.
Sh-t in the popcorn to go with sh-t on the court. Its a theme show like Medieval times.

If Frye and Curry are gonna outscore AD and Rose 35 to 3 AND out-rebound them, there's no way they could make enough mistakes to cancel out their scoring and rebounding edge.

AD is a -48 in plus/minus over six games this year. I cannot stress enough how much he sucks.

yeah, that's why Rose had no stupid fouls, shots or turnovers in crunch time last night...

Oldfan, i would rather Frye & Lee foul out, then play AD instead of AD starting infront of Frye

I agree. I'd rather Butler foul out too for that matter. Once those three get their 18th foul (combined), I have no problem with Rose getting minutes!

I have said this twice, but I'll say it again two of Frye's fouls in the game against the Kings, were the result of poor defense by Rose, he couldn't cover his man so Frye was left in a position to have to foul Rose's man to deny an easy basket, this is what happens when your teammate doesn't do his job on defense someone else pays for it, that is what happened to Frye. He was a victim of Rose's inability to cover his man, that is why Frye had fouls against the Kings!.

wow.. just wow.

That's the point of defense genius. Not everyone's gonna be able to guard their man perfectly. If your man drives by you then it becomes the duty of whoevers in the frontcourt to deny your man. Thats just a part of the game. The frontcourt is always going to get more fouls than the backcourt because they have to stop drives. If Frye wasn't in a good position for help D then he rightfully deserves the foul call. Stop making excuses for Frye. Using your logic Big Game Foul Machine James probably isn't at fault for half of the dozens of fouls he draws per game. Get real, thats help defense. Sure Rose may suck but lets not start accusing him of everythings thats not right.
